CAUSE NO. 16-1-03315-2 SEA

PROSECUTING ATTORNEY CASE SUMMARY AND REQUEST FOR BAIL AND/OR
CONDITIONS OF RELEASE
The State incorporates by reference the Certification for Determination of Probable
Cause prepared by Cpl. Craig Teschlog of the Medina Police Department for case number 201600000086.
The defendant, a teacher at Bellevue Christian School since 1997, molested 13 year-old
A.C. (DOB

) during the 2nd half of her 7th grade year in 2012 by putting his hand under

her skirt and inserting a finger into her anus during a school field trip. Previously, while in the
woodshop classroom, A.C. reported that the defendant would come up behind her on multiple
occasions and dry hump her. After the field trip, A.C. reported inappropriate touching by the
defendant to her parents who made a complaint to the school. Based on school records, it
appears the school was told that the defendant had touched A.C. on the buttocks. The defendant
continued to teach at the school but was put on leave in January of this year when A.C. reported
the molestation to police, who began a criminal investigation. During the police investigation, a
file on the defendant was turned over from the superintendents office that contained information
on additional complaints from at least two other female students, alleging that the defendant had
touched them inappropriately in 1999 and 2004.
The defendant has a clear pattern of inappropriate behavior with female students and
should not be teaching minors, particularly minor females. The State asks this Court to issue a
summons for the defendant to appear at arraignment and that the Court order the defendant to
have no contact with the victim or any minors.
Signed and dated by me this 7th day of June, 2016.
