Physical layer cell identity (PCI) is based on the information provided by Optimisation team. (4)
32

RACH root sequence is based on the information provided by Optimisation team. (4)
33

Tracking area code (TAC) is based on the information provided by Optimisation team. (4)
(4)

In the BTS commissioning file template, PCI, RACH root sequence, and TAC are set to dummy (temporary) value.
The final value is provided by Optimisation team and saved in a file located in the server under the following directory :
T:\LTE Parameters (or \\nasftc\LTE Parameters)

37

Immediately after the site is commissioned, commissioning engineer on the site will inform Config team, get the final value of PCI,
RACH
root sequence, and TAC of the site, and update them
to the BTS accordingly.
Nokia Siemens Networks 2013
Irwan Radius / v1.0 / 11.01.2013

Radio Network Configuration (5.3) LNCEL

The following parameters also need to be checked (in every cell) :
Administrative state
Rank indication reporting enable

34

Administrative state of each cell should be set to locked.

Administrative state can be changed to unlocked only after :
antenna installation is finished and antenna settings are modified accordingly
MHA installation and auto-detection are completed and MHA settings are modified accordingly
PCI, RACH root sequence, and TAC are set to the final value
35

For MIMO site, rank indication reporting enable is set to true.

However, for non-MIMO site, rank indication reporting enable has to be set to false.
