General Info
This document provides a guideline to :
perform LTE BTS commissioning & integration.
create the commissioning file for LTE BTS.
Summary of Procedure
I. Object Creation for LTE Site in NetAct
(1)
a separate document.
Note :
Select and use the right version of BTS Site
Manager which is compatible with the SW
package of the LTE BTS.
E.g. for BTS SW package release version
LN3.0_ENB_1103_772_11, use BTS Site
6
Nokia Siemens Networks 2013
Manager version 3.0.1203.
HW Selection
Each template already has pre-defined HW
selection.

Security
Leave the Security configuration as
it is now. No modification is needed.
12
In this example :
BTS05 = LTE . BTS01 = U900.
E1 IF-1 in LTE BTS will be
connected to E1 IF-4 in U900
BTS.

Important !
For RxDiversity Sharing (LTE1800 & GSM1800)
configuration, on each diversity branch the
following parameters need to be set as follow:
Additional Rx Gain : 29.0 dB
Total loss
: -1.0 dB
Note :
VFNZ is using RCUA for RET. Hence, it is not
available for LTE.
External alarms will be collected by 3G. Hence,
they are not available for LTE.

Cell name is eNB name with 1LCL01, 2LCL02, 3LCL03 added to end for each cell.
31
Physical layer cell identity (PCI) is based on the information provided by Optimisation team. (4)
32
RACH root sequence is based on the information provided by Optimisation team. (4)
33
Tracking area code (TAC) is based on the information provided by Optimisation team. (4)
(4)
In the BTS commissioning file template, PCI, RACH root sequence, and TAC are set to dummy (temporary) value.
The final value is provided by Optimisation team and saved in a file located in the server under the following directory :
T:\LTE Parameters (or \\nasftc\LTE Parameters)
37
Immediately after the site is commissioned, commissioning engineer on the site will inform Config team, get the final value of PCI,
RACH
root sequence, and TAC of the site, and update them
to the BTS accordingly.
