Sustainability
Amec Foster Wheeler is committed to the ten principles of the UN Global Compact, building on AMECs
legacy commitment where it joined the register of Global Compact participants in 2009.
Our vision is for the principles of the Global Compact to be enshrined within the Amec Foster Wheeler policies
and procedures and to be embedded within our behaviours and our culture across all our organisation. And for
all business units to endeavour to work with our supply chains, clients, business partners and peers to
disseminate the requirements along the value chain.
At Amec Foster Wheeler, we want to ensure that every employee has the opportunity to understand how their
role contributes to the delivery of our Resilient World sustainability strategy.
We want every employee to be able to participate by having a tool to implement local sustainability action
plans which align to business unit and global sustainability strategy and goals.
Sustainability Promises is the framework we will use across our offices, with the focus for our offices for 2015
being to complete an office efficiency assessment and develop an improvement plan in this area, and to
undertake a minimum of one charity or community investment event throughout the year.
The sustainability promises will be updated annually, and progress against them reported regularly, and upon
