Your candidature is provisional subject to (i) your meeting all the eligibility criteria for appearing in JEE
(Advanced) 2016 and (ii) the supporting documents you have uploaded are valid.
1. This admit card must be presented for verification in the examination hall. Carefully check your admit card. In case
of any discrepancy contact the Chairman, JEE (Advanced) 2016.
2. Material to be brought to the examination hall: This admit card, BLACK ball point pen with transparent body,
pencils, eraser and original photo identity card (for example, Aadhaar card, School/College ID, Driving licence,
Passport and PAN card)
3. Report at the examination centre before 07:30 hours IST and cooperate with the staff for physical frisking.
4. You are required to take your seat in the examination hall by 07:30 hours IST for paper 1 and by 13:00 hours IST
for paper 2 for biometric registration and verification, respectively.
5. Examination will commence at 09:00 hours IST in the forenoon session and 14:00 IST in the afternoon session. You
will NOT be allowed to enter the examination centre after commencement of the examination in both the sessions.
6. You will NOT be allowed to leave the examination hall before the completion of the examination and without handing
over the optical response sheet (ORS) to the invigilator.
7. You MUST use black ball point pen to darken the bubbles in the ORS. You cannot ERASE or UN-DARKEN a
bubble.
8. Any kind of watch, mobile phones, bluetooth, earphones, microphones, pager, health band or any other electronic
gadgets, any printed/blank/hand written paper, log table, writing pad, scale, geometry/pencil box, pouch, calculator,
pen drives, electronic pen, wallet, handbag, goggles or similar such things are NOT allowed inside the examination
centre.
9. DO NOT wear charm/tabeez, items containing metals such as ring, bracelet, earrings, nose pin, chain/necklace,
pendants, badge, brooch, hair pin, hair band, clothes with full sleeves or big buttons. Wear open footwear like
chappals and sandals.
10. Please visit www.jeeadv.ac.in for information on items which are allowed and not allowed in the examination hall.
11. Violation of any of the rules and regulations at any stage of the examination will lead to the cancellation of the
candidature.
