These are some of the resources you will find on the LGFL
site (our homepage in school) which can be very useful in
class. You can access them via the content grid or by subject
in the curriculum subjects drop down menu. Please spend
some time having a look at them to consider which resources
you could incorporate into your teaching. Enjoy!
The weather monitoring system established by London Grid for Learning collects
real-time data from more than fifty sites around the UK, allowing conditions around the country to be
displayed and compared in a number of ways. Additionally, a complete archive of data can be queried
to demonstrate the variation of parameters over hours, days, weeks, months and even years!
podcasts provide a simple method for publishing audio and video in situations where
new content is added on a regular basis, such as school newsletters and extra-curricular courses. The
LGfL Podcast Service makes it easy for anyone to create podcasts - no coding skills required!

Raps, like rhymes and songs with a regular beat or pattern, tend to stick
in the mind and so are an excellent way of lodging facts in our memories. These maths raps can be
used to help children remember those tricky facts and definitions they meet in the maths classroom
Espresso videos are used as a starting point to encourage children to: retell and
recall stories; order events; predict events and to tell imagined stories.
