Have passed at least one Trinity College London practical examination (Grade 5 or
higher) in the 12 months prior to application closing date
Are between the ages of 13 and 25 on the application closing date
Are a resident or citizen of New Zealand
Can provide all details requested in sections 1, 2, 4 and 6 of this form

SECTION 2: TRINITY COLLEGE LONDON EXAMINATION HISTORY
Please attach your exam report for at least one Trinity College London practical
examination passed during the 12 months prior to the closing date of application.
Applications from students who have not passed a TCL practical examination at Grade 5
level or higher within the previous 12 months will NOT be eligible.

SECTION 3: OTHER ACADEMIC INFORMATION
Please attach report form(s) or academic transcript(s) for the highest level(s) attained
with any other examinations board eg if you have passed all grades up to and including
Grade 7 with another board then attach the Grade 7 report form ONLY.
SECTION 4: REASON FOR FUNDING APPLICATION
Please explain in 200 words or less how you intend to use this financial assistance and
what the benefit(s) will be. Typical applications will be for tuition fees for a set period,
Trinity exam fees, purchasing a resource, cost of attending a summer course.

SECTION 5: PERSONAL STATEMENT


Please give any further information that you feel may be relevant to your application.
You are welcome to attach evidence of other attainments eg placing in a competition.

SECTION 6: REFERENCES
Please attach the following:
Two letters in support of your application, one of which must be from your current
teacher. Both letters must be signed and dated and include contact email
addresses and phone numbers.
Applications will be considered by a committee of three Trinity College London NZ
Representatives, one of whom will be the National Representative. No committee
member may act as referee for any of the current applications. All applications will be
treated as strictly confidential, however Trinity reserves the right to publicise the
successful applicant(s).

Applications must reach the National Representative by 5pm on the closing date
All applicants will be advised of the outcome of their application within 14 days of
the closing date
Up to four awards will be granted per annum. The committee decision will be
final.
