Project Title:

Dynamic Scheduling Of Parallel File Transfer in Grid Environment

Team Size: 3

Description:

The files are divided into chunks and the files are replicated over the servers. The objective is to
minimize transfer time. The replicated files are accessed by the clients. In this work Dynamic
scheduling algorithm is implemented to schedule multiple client-multiple server access for file
transfer. Due to parallel transfer of data, the overall transfer time is minimized. Availability
problem is solved by replicating data over the grid and by parallel transfer of chunks.

Duration: 3 months
