Learning Device Advance Virtual RISC (AVR) ATMega8535 Engineering Subjects Microcontroller. Graduate Program, Learning Technology, Ganesha Education University. This thesis has been approved and checked by: preceptor I: Prof. Dr. Naswan Suharsono. M.Pd and preceptor II: Dr. I Made Tegeh, M.Pd. Keywords: learning device, a microcontroller, and a model of development Borg and Gall This study aims to explain the process of the development of Microcontroller-Based Learning Device Advance Virtual RISC (AVR) ATMega8535, describe the results of the test response content experts, media experts, expert design, test individual students, small groups, field testing and teacher to the learning device based Advance Virtual RISC microcontroller (AVR) ATMega8535 and describe the effectiveness of learning-based Advanced Virtual RISC (AVR) microcontroller ATMega8535. Subjects in this study were 4 people as an expert lecturer, 3 individual test students, 9 students test and field test a small group of 30 students of class XII Audio Video Engineering Skills Program. Development in this study using the model of Borg and Gall. The data in this study were collected using questionnaires and tests. A questionnaire was used to seek feedback from the experts, individual testing, small group testing, teacher and field test, while the test is used to see the effectiveness of product development in microcontroller of subjects. Data were analyzed with descriptive qualitative analysis techniques, descriptive analysis and paired sample t-test test. The results showed that the learning microcontroller device implemented with 7 stages of the development process Borg and Gall. Experts indicate that the content of the learning materials are in accordance with the syllabus microcontroller, display media expert responses showed a very good score of 92.50 category, instructional design expert responses showed a very good score of 97.50 category, guardian and teacher response score of 100 subjects showed very good category, response trials 94.19 for individual, small group testing responses of 86.7 and a response field trials at 87.44, by t test with a significance level of 5% ( = 0.05), t is obtained 49.429 and tTable is 2,045, since t> t table or with look at the probability value is 0.000 (<0.05), then H0 is rejected, it means that there are significant differences between learning outcomes between students microcontroller basic techniques before and after using the device microcontroller ATMega8535 learning, so it can be concluded that the device microcontroller ATMega8535 learning on subjects apply basic microcontroller effectively used in the learning process.
