1. Every country has an economy that adapts to its needs and natural resources. Spains economy has three
sectors: cada pas tiene una economa que se adapta a sus necesidades y recursos naturales. La economa

1. Like tourism, transport is a service and forms part of the tertiary sector. We can use public transport
(transport that everyone can use) or private transport (transport that we own or control): Al igual que el

2.1. Many factors influence the type of transport we take: muchos factores influyen en el tipo de transporte

2.2. For example, a car may be better for when we have a lot to carry, but the metro is better for the
environment, avoids traffic and requires no parking: por ejemplo, un coche puede ser mejor para cuando

parking.
3. Goods: mercancas
3.1. Many goods (such as a food, raw materials and manufactured products) are transported over long
