Assignment Details

Please answer the following:


Select a Patient Safety problem of interest to you and indicate the extent
of the problem and some approaches that are utilised to address it. Use
relevant literature to support your argument
Guidance to students:
The purpose of the essay is to facilitate the student to gain ownership of and a
critically analyse of how an identified clinical problem can be viewed as a
patient safety issue which may result in poor clinical outcomes for clients. The
student is also required to critically appraise the selected patient safety
approaches to address the clinical issue.
It is important that relevant up to date literature, preferably from peer
reviewed journal articles, is used to substantiate the discussion. (Do not
use web sites such as Wikipedia)
