The 304th MI Bn OSINT Weekly report is an unclassified product of the 304th Army MI Bn OSINT

and international sources available on the World Wide Web. The articles may be read in their
entirety by inserting the URL listed below the item into a browser. These summaries do not
represent 304th MIs position or point of view and are selected upon the criteria of whether the
content addresses GEOINT, HUMINT, SIGINT, MASINT, OSINT or news on new weapons
technology. The news summary is based on open source information and is not processed open

Geoeye-1 Launches with Google Collaboration
GeoEye has announced that they have now launched their GeoEye-1 satellite. They have a deal with Google for this
satellite. Google gains exclusive rights to the imagery provided by this satellite. (Tech Whack, Sept. 7)

Tourist Place Marks over 314 locations in the Google Earth Key Hole Community (For Afghanistan,
Pakistan (NWFP) and other Afghanistan border areas)
Analyst Comment: The place marks of tourist Mahorialwee provide a rough open source guide for looking at select
areas, towns, streets, and topography in Afghanistan and Pakistan. The place mark postings are from August 18,
2007 to September 9, 2008. September 8th postings are for Waheer, Salmun, and Kaili Dill in the Punjab Province of

Australia has been singled out as a target for "forest jihad" by a group of Islamic extremists urging Muslims to

It's reputed that U.S. government employees' calls are monitored and people can be disciplined for speaking the
