JOB DESCRIPTION
PRINCIPAL PURPOSE OF JOB (GENERAL DESCRIPTION):
1. Meet target production in compliance with customer specifications.

LEVEL OF AUTHORITY:
Performs routine and non-routine duties according to the order and instructions of the
Line Leader or Supervisor.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is performed primarily in production setting inside the company.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Set-up and adjust machines and monitor them for unusual operation or movements.
Load materials into machine for processing replace molds, tools or parts as required.
Act as a link in the process chain and to other operators.
May replace worn out parts as authorized and produce an initial test batch of
products to measure quality before mass production.
Test and measure finished products, and record the results of activities.
Follow work standards and comply with product requirements.
Maintains good housekeeping of working area.
Reports troubles encountered during operation and may perform minor repairs or
seek assistance of qualified mechanics to solve machine troubles.
Meet with superiors and co-workers to ensure that the results of their activities meet
company standards and the expectations of the customers.

10. Prepare production reports, keeping files and records.

11.Ensure compliance to procedure and Work Instructions.

ADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. May perform portions of the work of higher classified jobs occasionally, as assigned.
2. May perform duties of similar complexity in production as required or assigned.

JOB SPECIFICATION/REQUIRED COMPETENCY

WORK EXPERIENCE:
1. 1 2 years work experience in the same position is an advantage
2. At least 6 months work experience as machine operator or equivalent
position.
EDUCATION:
1. Graduate of Secondary Education or technical education.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES:
1. Good listener and flexible skills
2. Efficient in time management skills
3. Ability to operate production machines and use of basic tools and equipments
4. Ability to interpret and follow written specification and instruction.
5. Distinguishes acceptable and rejected parts.
