What are your thoughts on startups?

People should just join any startup across the

world!
Why? Indians are very resilient; they would do anything and everything to learn.
The country is in a learning stage and so are the youth. So why not give them an
option with a startup, its the only place where youll learn from scratch.

Whats your take on the sudden increase in the number of people joining startups?
I think only those people should join a startup whore ready to take risks- before the
age of 27 or 28, because after that you just want to be lazy and want a settled life.
Hence youngsters should join, because they get to learn a lot; everyone should
have a startup!
Everyone? Yes, because were potential customers to each other. Before starting
hadippa I had no idea about the startup culture but now that this is going forward
Im getting to learn a lot.
How has the journey been? Has there been a low point? I was very new to startups
and so had no idea about what incubators are or what accelerators are, I didnt
know how and whom to approach for advisory (Im still figuring that out actually).
Investors are usually interested in A/B/C series so its very difficult to find angel
investors, and even if you do they want you to raise money through your friends
and family. So when I started I had to obviously use my own money! And right now
Im still looking for someone to invest in this idea, though I believe itll happen soon
as this is the best time!

name short and appealing and should make sure that ppl will easily remember
you and will recognize you esp in the beginning when youre just starting up and
youre building a brand its essential. This is what we try to explain to startups .
First time were attending this event and this is much diff than what we exp in
Germany , but its really positive to see so many startups in here and so many great
ideas . were positively surprised.

everything the way its done in America. People made fun of me, they laughed at
me.
But guess what after 10 years Im known as a real estate coach. Real estate
agencies now call me to give a talk. Ive also created many portals without even
paying a single paisa to google, 5 of them are on the top for the past two years .
Now top engg and management colleges call me to talk about entrepreneurship and
how to use the internet. I love the internet!
So now, instead of delegating a certain task we let them play around with
everything before they settle down on what they like
Im a domain seeker but I havent sold even a single one! Im a little crazy, but
crazy is good, especially to be successful!

Europe, it is that the rate of scale up of startups is very very fast. Theyve all scaled
up within a span of say 2-3 yrs. This could be because of many reasons like
availability, risk taking ability, the diff here in india is that
The mentality of India is to invest first, see the growth and then put more money in
it. Thats not how its in the US. They go full steam ahead. Thats the main
difference!

Startups is the way to go and I always say that. I live n/w Mumbai ls and san fran,
spending a lot of time at these places and so have seen the mindest of these places
Bang way more easier and way more evolved with the startup s/m than with
Bombay, reason is that problem is ofc the exp pattern and old school busns fam
where bomb comes from , so that becomes a harder clique to crack in, in comp to
bang. Bang is the youth city whereas Bombay is a mix and has power.
India typically experienced that with policy, govt. own school of thought the way
the peer s/m works social s/m, and the way the bizz world works gen if there are
80 good ideas they exp burnout b4 they can reach anywhere.
Bigg diff leverage. In us u can lev a lot. Thats why Zuckerberg can come from
anywhere and be richest man.
The ecos/m should not be just because youre running after money, it should be abt
building smtn tangible that is smtn that most ppl are forgetting .
Lots of moments have changed me pers and proff.
I quit my corp job after 8 yrs just like that. After that I dabbled in a lot ofstartups for
3 yrs. Then I went to Croatia on a boat and met the ceo of contry and joined a tech
circus in la and I had a blast.
