ThefollowingASMEB&PVCode,SectionVIII(2010edition),providestherequirementsapplyingtotheevaluation:

Vesselinformationimmediatelyavailabletotheinspectoristhevesselnameplatepossiblythedatareport.Bothprovidethe

Problemsoccurwhenspecifyingthedisktemperature.Oftenthevesselsdesigntemperatureisused.Inmostcases,
coincidenttemperature(temperaturethatshouldbeused),isnotthesameasthevesseldesigntemperature,andshouldin

Sowhatisthepropertemperaturetouseforcoincidenttemperature?Thenextchoiceisusuallynormalprocesstemperature.
However,upsetconditionsandnormaloperationconditionsneedtobeconsidered.Inchemicalprocessing,anoverpressure

Anotherproblemoccurswhenthemanufacturingdesignrange(MDR)isnotconsideredduringorderingofthedisks.The
codedefinitionofMDRisarangeofpressurewithinwhichthemarkedburstpressuremustfalltobeacceptablefora
