The Qur’anic Verse Pondering about it

And the jinn, Allah (God) created aforetime from the Allah (God) states that He created Jinn from Fire. And why did He
smokeless flame of fire. mention the creation of Jinn right after the creation of humans in The
The Noble Qur’an (15: 27) Noble Qur’an?

Because Jinn and humans are the only two creations of The Almighty
which have the ability to make decisions, whereas the rest of creation
is driven by inspiration from the Almighty and can not make
independent decisions

And surely, Allah (God) created you (your father Adam)

and then gave you shape (the noble shape of a human
Satan was arrogant and believed that He was superior to Adam PBUH
being), then Allah (God) told the angels, "Prostrate to
and also believed that His opinion is better than that of Allah (God)
Adam", and they prostrated, except Iblîs (Satan), he
Almighty
refused to be of those who prostrate
The Noble Qur’an (7: 11)
Thus Allah( God )Almighty teaches us that arrogance is the basic sin
of Satan and that it is the basis of all other sin ,and it is the sin which
lead to the series of sins committed by Satan

Because if a person is arrogant then he would believe that his

guesswork is better than the guidance of Allah (God) Almighty in The
Noble Qur’an. And this leads to a person falling in sin.

Allah (God) said: "What prevented you that you did

not prostrate, when I commanded you?" Satan
said: "I am better than him (Adam), You created
me from fire, and him You created from clay."
The Noble Qur’an (7: 12)
Allah (God) Almighty teaches us that Satan thinks and analyzes
matters and knows that He was created from fire (i.e. Satan has so
much knowledge and knows humans and how to affect them)

(Allah (God)) said: "(O Satan) get down from this

(Paradise), it is not for you to be arrogant here. Get
out, for you are of those humiliated and disgraced." Allah (God) tells us that His anger was on Satan because He was
The Noble Qur’an (7: 13) arrogant and thought that His opinion is better than that of the Almighty

16. (Satan) said: "Because You have sent me astray,

Satan promised to do the following to the children of Adam:
surely I will sit in wait against them (human beings)
1. Leading people astray and blocking them from the guidance of Allah
on Your Straight Path.
(God) Almighty
17. Then I will come to them from before them and
2. Hurting the children of Adam
behind them, from their right and from their left, and
3. Making a person unthankful to the countless blessings of the Almighty
You will not find most of them as thankful ones"
unto him
The Noble Qur’an (7: 16-17)

Allah (God) Almighty answered Satan by saying that He will place Satan in
fire and those who follow Him. This is not out of love to placing people in
(Allah (God)) said (to Satan) "Get out from this fear but so that Satan would refrain from doing the deeds that displeases
(Paradise) disgraced and expelled. Whoever of Allah (God) and such that people would refrain from following Satan and
them (mankind) will follow you, then surely I will fill the whispers they heat in their head coming from their companion devil
Hell with you all
The Noble Qur’an (7: 18)
What is the importance of not eating a certain fruit from the fruits of Heaven?

"And O Adam! Dwell you and your wife in Paradise,
and eat thereof as you both wish, but approach not
this tree otherwise you both will be of the Zâlimûn
(unjust and wrongdoers)."
The Noble Qur’an (7: 19)
There is no direct importance of it since there is nothing that can cause
harm to a person in heaven, thus why did Allah (God) ask Adam and
Eve such a question?
Allah (God) wants to teach Adam and Eve peace be upon them how
Satan affects them, as explained in the Qur’anic verses to follow:

Then Satan whispered suggestions to them both in

order to uncover that which was hidden from them
of their private parts (before); he said: "Your Lord did Allah (God) states that Satan whispered (i.e. talked) to Adam and Eve.

The Qur’anic Verse Pondering about it

63. [Iblîs (Satan)] said: "See? This one whom You have
honored above me, if You give me respite (keep me alive) to
the Day of Resurrection, I will surely seize and mislead his
offspring (by sending them astray) all but a few!"
64. (Allah (God)) said: "Go, and whosoever of them follows
you, surely! Hell will be the recompense of you (all) an ample
recompense.
The Noble Qur’an (17: 63-64)
And befool whom you can of them with your voice, and
assault them with your imaginations and false emotions, and
share them in their raising of their money and children, and
make promises to them and Satan promises them nothing but
deception and lies
The Noble Qur’an (17: 64)
"Verily! My slaves, you have no authority over them. And All-
Sufficient is your Lord as a Guardian."
The Noble Qur’an (17: 65)
Satan promised Allah (God) that He will seize and mislead the children
of Adam all but a few. And the answer of Allah (God) to that was that He
promised Hell to Satan and those who follow Him. This is not out of love
in placing people in fear but such that Satan and His followers would
refrain from committing sins.
Since Allah (God) Almighty created everything based on mercy, this
means that mercy requires that Allah (God) should show people every
detail on how Satan affects them, such that they would not fall into the
tricks of Satan. This mercy is found in verse 64 of chapter 17 of The
Noble Qur’an, such that Allah (God) shows in this verse the detailed
manner of how Satan affects people.
Allah (God) Almighty states in this Qur’anic verse that He did not give
Satan power over people. This power means the ability of making a
person move or say things against his well. Because if Allah (God)
gave Satan such power then there would be no sense of Judging a
person on the acts he or she has committed.

Allah (God) Almighty describes in details the sole method by

which Satan affects humans by in verse 64 of chapter 17 in
the Noble Qur’an: Allah (God) Almighty teaches us that Satan affects people with

yourself and others), Lust (perverted sexual ideas and acts), and blasphemy (i.e. to say about Allah (God) Almighty what you have no
knowledge of like for example that Allah (God) has children and wives)

Allah (God) Almighty states another effect of
Satan whispering to a person with a voice
matching the one he or she thinks with in
verse (4) of Chapter 113:
And from the evil of the blower in the knots
Allah (God) Almighty teaches us that your companion devil generates feelings
of anxiety, fear, and agitation by stimulation neural nodes in the human brain.
These nodes are responsible for generating various feelings in the human
body. Thus when your companion devil whispers to you ideas, He at the same
time generates feelings that coincide with the content of these ideas. For
example if He whispers to you an idea that contains disturbing contents he
generates at the same time heaviness in your chest and a feeling of anxiety;
on the other hand if he whispers to you an idea which contains sexual acts,
then he would generate arousal feelings to make you think that it is ok to
commit the sexual act he just whispered in your head

Scientific proof to the effect of Satan on humans

Ideas which Satan whispers to humans with as stated in the Noble

Qur’an (Chapter 2):

169. Satan commands you what is harmful, sinful, and to say about Ideas contained in the whispers experienced by people
Allah (God) Almighty what you have no knowledge of labeled as mentally sick (obsessive compulsory disorder)

Harm Harm: Ideas to hurt oneself and others

Lust Lust: Ideas containing perverted sexual acts

To say about Allah (God) Almighty what you Blasphemy: Ideas which distort the image of Allah

The Qur’anic Verse Pondering about it

Then Satan whispered suggestions to them both in order
to uncover that which was hidden from them of their
private parts (before); he said: "Your Lord did not forbid
you this tree save you should become angels or
become of the immortals."
The Noble Qur’an (7: 20)
Satan whispered to Adam and Eve peace be upon them .However ,the
question is now with regards to the kind of thoughts Satan whispered
to Adam and Eve with?
Satan said: "Your Lord did not forbid you this tree save you
should become angels or become of the immortals."

Satan invents a lie which purpose is to mislead the children of Adam,

and the characteristic of this lie is as follows:

It targets the weak

It goes against the points in humans
Foolish talk (lies)
guidance of Allah (God) (money, desires, etc.)

And he [Shaitân (Satan)] swore by Allâh to them both

(saying): "Verily, I am one of the sincere wellwishers for you Satan swore that he wants what is good for Adam and Eve peace be
both." upon them
The Noble Qur’an (7: 21)

So he misled them with deception. Then when they tasted

of the tree, that which was hidden from them of their
shame (private parts) became manifest to them and they
began to stick together the leaves of Paradise over
themselves (in order to cover their shame).
The Noble Qur’an (7: 22)
He mislead them with deception, which means that Satan made them
follow their path with lies and deception. Then Adam and Eve
disobeyed Allah (God) Almighty

And their Lord called out to them (saying): "Did I not forbid
you that tree and tell you: Verily, Satan is an open enemy
unto you?"
The Noble Qur’an (7: 22)
Allah (God) Almighty reminded Adam and Eve and all people of His
guidance (Did I not forbid you that tree and tell you). And He also
reminded them that Satan is an open enemy for people and that He
does not want what is good for them ( Verily, Satan is an open
enemy unto you?")

They said: "Our Lord! We have wronged ourselves. If You Allah (God) teaches us how to proceed if a person slipped and agreed
forgive us not, and bestow not upon us Your Mercy, we with the ideas whispered by Satan. Such that Allah (God) teaches us
shall certainly be of the losers." that after that a person should ask forgiveness from Allah (God)
The Noble Qur’an (7: 23) Almighty and endeavor not to agree with the ideas of Satan in the future.

O Children of Adam! Let not Shaitân (Satan) deceive you,

as he got your parents [Adam and Hawwa (Eve)] out of
Paradise, stripping them of their raiments, to show them
their private parts. Verily, he and Qabîluhu (his soldiers from Allah (God) urges people not to follow Satan as happened with Adam
the jinns or his tribe) see you from where you cannot see and Eve peace be upon Them (i.e. remember their story and not
them. Verily, We made the Shayâtin (devils) Auliyâ' befooled by Satan)
(protectors and helpers) for those who believe not.
