Terms and Conditions

Shimla Book Festival 2016 will, hereinafter be referred
to as SBF 2016 and Participant, or in the alternative,
party or parties, who book(s) display space in Shimla
Book Festival 2016 Exhibition, will hereinafter be
referred to as Exhibitor(s).
1. SBF 2016 will allot space/stalls to exhibitor(s) on a
first come first served basis;
2. SBF 2016 will allot space/stalls to Exhibitor(s) only

on receipt of confirmation of space/stall booking in

writing along with the 50% Advance payment by
Cheque/Demand Draft accompanied by the duly
filled Application form;

3. The balance payment of space/stall charges shall

be made in full by Nov 20th, 2016. In event of default

of payment as aforesaid, SBF 2016 reserves the
right to cancel the booking, and the advance paid will
stand forfeited;

and shall also ensure to adopt adequate safety
measures in this regard;

12. Exhibitor(s) shall make good to SBF 2016 all costs,

damages and expenses resulting from fire, or any

damages caused to the structure, etc, due to
Exhibitor's negligence;

21. SBF 2016 will not be liable for any delays or failure

in performance of any of its obligations under,

or arising out of the contract, if the delay or the
failure results from any of the following: Force
majeure, acts of God, fire, flood, earthquake, storm,
explosion, accidents, riots, strikes, lockouts,
bandh/closures, war, civil unrest, industrial disputes,
embargoes of any state of emergency, or any other
Govt. Act, law, statute ordinance whatsoever which
renders it impossible or impractical for SBF 2016
and Exhibitor(s) to perform and all previous
negotiation, commitments, agreements between
parties pertaining to this transaction stands
cancelled;

22. The foregoing terms and conditions shall prevail

notwithstanding any variations contained in the

terms and conditions or other documents, submitted
by the Exhibitor(s);
