Sampling methods are classified as either probability or non-probability. In probability samples,

each member of the population has a known non-zero probability of being selected. Probability
methods include random sampling, systematic sampling, and stratified sampling. In non-probability
sampling, members are selected from the population in some non-random manner. These include
convenience sampling, judgment sampling, quota sampling and snowball sampling [1]. This is
significant because we want to generalize from the sample to target population.
3.2 Questionnaire
To design a questionnaire, we need these four parts to make the survey easier to finalize and
analyze. These four parts are the number of questions asked in questionnaire, the number of parts in
the questionnaire, the types of questions used and the advantages of using some types of questions.
First and foremost, we have prepared total of 27 questions in the questionnaire. In our
questionnaire, we have four parts in which each part has distinct number of questions. First part
renamed as Part A, is general enquiry among students about cafe in UniMAP. Second part, Part B is
about satisfaction level towards the Manufacturing Cafe. The following part which is Part C is
about factors that lead to the above issues. The last part, Part D, is the solution to solve the
problems.
We use the close-ended and open-ended unstructured to describe the questions in Part A, C and
D, except Part B only close-ended questions. In Part A, open-ended unstructured question are used
this is due to the respondents can answer in an unlimited ways in his or her own words so that can
yield more varied responses and closed-ended semantic differential questions are used because scale
is inscribed between two bipolar words and respondent selects the point that most represents the
direction and intensity of his / her feelings. Besides that, for Part B the closed-ended semantic
differential questions are also used and the closed-ended rank order questions are used because
respondent is asked to rank or rate each option that applies in the question. This allows the
researcher to obtain information on relative preferences, importance and so on. Last but not least,
in Part C the open-ended unstructured question are used and closed-ended multiple choice are used
due to the questions offering three or more choices so that can gather more opinion from
respondents. Every answer can be given a number or value so that a statistical interpretation can be
assessed. Working with quantitative data, it is much easier to draw conclusions, reports, results and
graphs from the responses. The last part consists of close-ended dichotomous and open-ended
unstructured for our questions. The advantages of using close-ended dichotomous questions it has
only two possible answers and is easier and quicker to be analyzed.

While, open-ended

unstructured questions are respondents can answer in detail and can qualify and clarify responses
and they permit creativity, self-expression, and richness of detail [2].

5.0 Solutions
The best two solutions that we get from the survey are the person in charge should fix the period of
time of maintenance and provide free WIFI facility for students. Above 70% of the students support
these two solutions in the questionnaire survey.

5.1 Fixed the Period of Time of Maintenance

The person in charge should have take initiative to fix the period of time of maintenance for
manufacturing cafe. It is clearly to be seen from our questionnaire that most of the students are not
satisfied with the environment of Manufacturing Cafe. Most of the chairs are spoiled and students
might not able to get a seat to have their food during peak hour. Periodic maintenance is very
important to ensure the comfortableness of the environment and the availability of the equipment.
By turning Manufacturing Cafe into a cozy and comfortable environment, students would be more
willing to visit here for their breakfast or lunch. Thus, periodic maintenance would increase the
profit of Manufacturing Cafe indirectly.

5.2 Provide Free WIFI Facility

Students request for free WIFI facility in Manufacturing Cafe after conducting a questionnaire
survey. Students able to use the waiting period to do their assignment or browsing through websites
for information with free internet access service. Besides, it can attract more students to visit
Manufacturing Cafe as not all choose Manufacturing Cafe as their priority choice in the
questionnaire survey. Hence, students will spend more on other foods in Manufacturing Cafe
besides fried food and economy rice.

6.0 Benefits
The benefits that we get from the survey are getting information directly from the primary source.
Throughout this questionnaire survey, we summarise the benefits of fixed the period of time of
maintenance are gain more customers. Besides that, the benefits of provide a free WIFI facility is
can maximise the usage of Cafe with WIFI facility and act as comfort place.

6.1 Gain more customers

Maintenance is seen as an investment because resources are spent today to do maintenance in
order to reduce cost of changing a new one or get higher benefits in the future. Good maintenance
schedule like monitoring and repairing fan, sink, table and chair with fixed period of time. This can
boost up trust from loyal customer and get recommendation from friends. Consequently, this cafe
can attract more customers using this cafe. In addition, if this cafe sells a delicious and good
lookings food can give a good perception and image to the customers.
6.2 Maximise the usage of the Cafe with WIFI facility
WIFI is a technology that allows electronic devices to connect to a wireless LAN (WLAN)
network by providing internet service. Nowadays, the Internet is the most common way for young
people to do things, for example searching different information, buying any kinds of products, and
talking with people who are from different countries or within our country. The Internet seems to
be the primary and indispensable thing in young people's life. [3] Explicitly, the cafe with the
important facility in which it can provide the needs of young people with this service at the same
time increasing sales.
6.3 Act as comfort place
Since this cafe is located at hot area, if the cafe had air conditioner restaurant is more comfort for
customer. This is due to customers more prefers air conditioner restaurants. In this comfort place,
the customer can reading an eBook or doing assignment by collecting information through internet,
while waiting for the order with good environment. Besides that, it can act like a place to gather

together with friends for discussion and can search for information through internet conveniently
with some drinks or desserts.
