Final Year Project:
Title: Spy Quad Copter
Supervised by: Dr. Sajjad Hussain:
Description: Quad copter, also called a quad rotor helicopter, which is a multi-copter that is lifted
and propelled by four rotors. Quad copters are classified as rotorcraft because their lift is generated by a set of
revolving narrow-chord airfoils (propellers). Unlike most helicopters, quad copters generally use
symmetrically pitched blades which can be adjusted as a group. Control of vehicle motion is achieved by
altering the pitch and rotation rate of one or more rotor discs.
Quad copter can be used for surveillance by military and law enforcement. To get awareness of
different fields i.e. (Electrical, Electronic and Mechanical Engineering). To know flight aspects of UAV
(Unarmed Ariel Vehicle).Quad copters are a useful tool for university researchers to test and evaluate new
ideas. Spy Quad copter can be used in search and rescue mission in red alert areas.
It is a prototype implementation and design of a spy quad-copter. It can give flight up to 10 min
without video transmission and 6 min approx. on video transmission. It can achieve height up to 60ft and can
lift weight up to 1Kg.Also light weight frame compatible to overcome stability issues.
