2. Scope of application
- Application to Nokia 3G system.
3. Documents and software needed
To run the CR you will need the following documents and software:
The CR file received from optimization team

CDD-form import.xls
Create DN for nokia.xls
3g_neighbor_export_ref_RN4.0.xml
3g_neighbor_creation RN4.0_new g .xml
3g_neighbor_creation RN4.0_new s.xml
NodeBCDD_Ver2.3.exe
4. Procedure
4.1. Prepare the CDD file
You open the file received from optimization team which is like this:
You also open the sheet CDD-form import.xls which is presented like this:

You open the sheet Add_Relation_3G_3G of the CR you copy the content and paste the value
in the sheet Intra HO of the file CDD-form import.xls then sort as follows.
You open the sheet Add_Relation_3G_2G of the CR you copy the content and paste the
value in the sheet 3G ->2G of the file CDD-form import.xls then sort as follows.

If in the CR there is the part to add_3G_3G_interfrequency you copy the content of the sheet in
the CR and you paste the value in the sheet Inter HO of the file CDD-form import.xls then
sort as follows:
Then save the file.

4.2. Export actual configuration from system
The next action is to do is to export the actual configuration of neighbor in the system. You
first open NetAct.

4.3. Prepare file for to import in the system
4.3.1. Prepare the file Ne Import
In order to create the file you will use the tool NodeBCDD_Ver2.3
You first open the tool you will have this:

the system
You indicate the

put the file that will
be created

You can now make many copies the same file and save in the two following names
Add3G_2G_date.csv ;Add3G_3G_date.csv; Add3G_3G_Inter_date.csv.
4.3.2. Prepare the file Add_3G_3G.
Open the file Add3G_3G_date.csv and delete the column of ADJG and ADJI as follow:

Add the parameter RTWithHSDPAHopsIdentifier in the last column of ADJS and assign the
value 12 like below

Remember to put the value of AdjsMNC to 04 then save the file.
4.3.3. Prepare the file Add_3G_3G_Inter.

In this part we want to create 3G_3G relation in different frequency.
Open the file Add3G_3G_Inter_date.csv and delete the column of ADJG and ADJS just
like you saw in the previews step.
4.3.4. Prepare the file Add_3G_2G

Now open the file Add3G_2G_date.csv and delete the column of ADJS and ADJI .You will
get this file where you need to change the TargetCellDN.

Notice that the DN is like the address in the system of an object (BSC, RNC, BCF, BTS,
WBTS, and WCELL)
In this file the TargetcellDN is in this form PLMN-PLMN/BSC-0/BCF-0/BTS-21502400 where
we have
PLMN-PLMN/BSC-0/BCF-0/BTS-(Lac_of_the_cell)(CI_of_the_cell). We have to change it
and put it into this form PLMN-PLMN/BSC-389257/BCF-1/BTS-1.So We need to open the file
Create DN for nokia.xls which have the real DN of all the 2G cells. When you open it you

You copy the column TargetCellDN you paste it in the sheet.
You go to the sheet of the CR sent by optimization team open the sheet Add_Relation3G_2G
you copy the 3 column AdjgCI, AdjgLAC,Name like this.

You copy the new DN of cell and replace it in the file Add3G_2G_date.csv after finish you
save the file.

4.4 Import the plan to the system

You go to NetAct to import the two plans.
To Add 3G_2G Relation we will use the profile 3g_neighbor_creation RN4.0_new g .xml
and to add 3G_3G relation we need the profile 3g_neighbor_creation RN4.0_new s.xml.
and to add 3G_3G_Interfrequency relation we need the profile 3g_neighbor_creation
RN4.0_new i.xml .
You provision the plan and you wait until it is ok.
You will get something like this at the end.
After you need to take the logs.And to do so you will cclick on one row and after do CTRL+A
to select all
Then you click to EXPORT and you just specify the name of the file and the location.
You report to the optimization team.
