RATIONALE
I have chosen the theme global warming in my reflective
piece to illustrate the important of global warming and how it
can affect the nation. The theme I choose is global warming
because it is one of the man-made disasters that have
affected the nation. I am targeting more the teenagers and
adults because I think that they pay a great role in the
environmental system. I am doing this topic to capture ones
attention of global warming. For this topic in order to capture
the audience attention, the genre I will use is a poem which
will be known as Warmth.
I have chosen this genre because I think that the audience
will be most interested in a poem that is that they will read
the poem and understand the meaning and concept of the
poem. The audience needs to be informed about this manmade disaster, and how it is affecting the country. With the
audience aware of global warming, they will be more careful
on how they disposal of their garbage. This change of events
can help lessen global warming in the whole world including
our country which we occupy.

WARMTH
A problem we face every day of our lives
The heat that we feel from the sun light.
The smoke from cars, trucks and factories
Makes too much of carbon dioxide for all our trees.
The build-up of carbon dioxide in the air
Causes the ozone layer up there to deplete.
Trees cant photosynthesize fast enough
To build the ozone layer right back up.
The thinner the ozone layer gets each day,
The more we have to pay, pay, pay.
We have to stop the pollution of carbon each day,
Or we will regret it someday.
The root of the trees still intact with the ground,
Like a plague passed through a town.
