PEAK ENTREPRENEUR TRACK (LEVEL 3) TRAINING PROGRAM

FOR MyWIN ACADEMY


CASE STUDY PROJECT TERMS OF REFERENCE
OBJECTIVES
The objectives of this case study project are to initiate a thinking process among
participants, to train important skills on industrial problem-solving, to understand the
fundamentals of strategic mapping and finally to equip with experience that will be
valuable for participants in running their businesses, considering the fierce
competitions and volatile markets that most businesses face today. The project will
explore in modest depth the common issue among the players in similar industry, and
will leverage the benefits of teamwork and diversity among participants. On
completion of the project, participants will be able to:
1. Understand how to define, refine, isolate and resolve business issue by
embracing 6 steps of business issue problem solving program.
2. Understand how the industrial players deal with the business issue by
collaborating among participants, and by participating in discussions with
subject matter expert.
3. Acquire basic skills in dealing with uncertainties and business issues in near
future.
4. Build a group of industrial players and mentoring network in sharing business
experiences and issues moving forward
5. Map strategies into sets of actions to better managing the business issues, and
to achieving the firm goals and objectives
APPROACH
1. Participants will be grouped by similar industry, preferably by product or
services
2. Participants will be given 6 sets of Coaching Moments to embark in a journey of
resolving a common complex issue
3. Participants will be guided and coached by a Mentor/Facilitator throughout the
5 months period until the end of Cluster 4 of PEAK training program

4. Participants will be presenting the result of the case studies, and will be
encouraged to share personal experiences and take-away
GUIDELINES FOR CASE STUDY PRESENTATION (15-20 MINUTES/Group)
1. Participants are encouraged to use Microsoft Powerpoint, and to apply
creativity in their presentations
2. Introduction of the presentation includes Common Business Issue, and How
this Issue relates to each participants company
3. Body of the presentation includes the following:
a. Contributing Factors of the Business Issue
b. Mapping aspects of business to the contributing factors, and
stakeholders identification
c. Potential Solutions and Related Strategies
d. Action Plans & Change Management Plan
e. Stewardship
4. Conclusion of the presentation will allow every participant to share:
a. What have I learned?
b. What can I bring back to my business to be more competitive and
successful

Pre-Program:
1. Group participants into similar industry, and propose a common issue among
them
2. Appoint a Group Leader, and Create a Whatsapp Group for discussions
3. Share the brief overview of the Case Study project with participants
