RÉSUMÉ
The main topic of our doctoral thesis is the efficiency of teaching art at the second
level of primary schools, which is elaborated from different points of view. The aim of this
work is to apply and use this knowledge in practice, during art lessons. The thesis has three
parts which are mutually related to each other: scientific-theoretic part, experiential research
and pedagogical-didactical part. Every part defines, describes and deals with the efficiency
from another side and in a different way.
The scientific-theoretic part deals with the efficiency of teaching process. We define
the concept of efficiency and we orient ourselves more closely toward the efficiency of
teaching art. The goals of teaching process are also inseparably related to the concept of
efficiency. We were dealing with their function in teaching and we defined some general and
some specific goals. In the end of this part we include the control of teaching process, which
is also an important part of increasing of the efficiency of teaching process.
In the second part of the thesis, the experiential research, we focus on finding out the
efficiency of teaching art at the second level of primary schools. Since the concept of
efficiency contains a countless number of different aspects, our thesis deals only with one of
them. We examine the attitude of pupils towards the teaching of art. We focus on the
differences among particular grades, and the differences between girls and boys. We analyzed
the obtained information and the results are interpreted through graphs.
The whole work concentrates on the efficiency of teaching process. To avoid staying
in a theoretical level, we tried to transform the gained information also to practice, to our
schools, to pupils and to the lessons of art. Picture documentation is also a part of the thesis. It
shows examples of work of pupils from P. Marcely Primary school, Drieňová 16, Bratislava.
We believe our work to be contribution for pupils, inspiration for teachers and that it
will help to increase the efficiency of teaching art at the second level of primary schools. We
hope that the points of view and the approach of this work will enrich a creative dialogue
among teachers of art and it will lead to thinking about the present state of art at our schools.
There is not anything more beautiful than to see the world full of colours and to teach the
others to see, perceive and feel the world around us and also inside of us...
RÉSUMÉ
Celá práca je zameraná na efektívnosť vyučovacieho procesu. Aby sme však nezostali
len v teoretickej rovine, snažili sme sa získané informácie pretransformovať aj do praxe, do
našich škôl, k samotným žiakom na hodinách výtvarnej výchovy. Obrazovú dokumentáciu
sme zaradili do prílohy. V nej sme systematicky po ročníkoch a úlohách zobrazili ukážky
detských prác žiakov ZŠ P. Marcelyho, Drieňová 16, Bratislava.
Veríme že naša práca bude prínosom pre žiakov, inšpiráciou pre učiteľov a prispeje
tak k zvyšovaniu efektívnosti vyučovania výtvarnej výchovy na II. stupni ZŠ. Dúfame, že
obohatí svojím pohľadom, názormi a koncepciou tvorivý dialóg medzi učiteľmi výtvarnej
výchovy a povedie k zamysleniu sa nad súčasným stavom výtvarnej výchovy v našich
školách. Veď nie je nič krajšie ako vidieť svet plný farieb a naučiť aj ostatných vidieť, vnímať
a cítiť svet okolo seba, ale i v sebe...
