- no more poles - the easiest set up of any tent and with only one inflation

The future in your hands

After years of development Kampa AirFrame tents are finally a
reality and are set to revolutionise the way you camp. Gone are
the traditional metal or fibreglass poles, replaced by strong, high
pressure inflatable AirFrame poles. No more struggling with the tent
frame and trying to find the correct pole, the AirFrame is already
attached to the tent for simple, one step set up.
So how does it work?
Its simple, traditional poles have been replaced with an inflatable AirFrame that
is always attached to the tent. The individual poles are linked together so that
you can pump at just one single point and inflate the entire tent. The rigid
AirFrame creates an exceptionally strong tent, probably stronger than a steel
frame. It can be inflated using the supplied high volume manual pump or, for
the ultimate in ease, with an optional electric pump. An AirFrame can be
pumped up in less than 60 seconds using the manual pump.
Each AirPole is linked together but can be

isolated using the valve.
Whats the set up procedure?
Its never been easier, just follow these simple steps:

Remove from the carry bag and lay out the tent in

the required position.
Peg down the four corners of the tent.
Attach the pump to the inflation point and pump

until inflated. The tubes are high pressure so you

cant over inflate with the pump supplied.
Peg down the intermediate pegging points and

peg out the guy lines. The inner tents can be left

suspended within the tent and so the whole tent

is set up in one go.
Thats it! The easiest tents ever.
A single inflation point will inflate

the whole tent.
Other advantages
As well as being the easiest tent to set up, its also the easiest to take down
Kampa AirFrame tents are lighter than tents with conventional poles - up
to 27% lighter than an equivalent tent. Reduce your payload in the car.
With no metal or fibreglass poles theres nothing to damage the fabric
on your tent.
The AirFrame is always attachedyoure never going to forget or lose
your poles.
The inner tents can be left attached to make set up even easier and quicker.
Whilst the AirFrame is very rigid it does flex in the wind meaning that youll
never break or bend a pole.

The fastest set up time of any family tent make life easy for yourself
The larger the tent the greater the advantages of the AirFrame system
all the tents are simply inflated from one point. Weve got four family sized models
to suit up to eight people.
What happens if the AirFrame is damaged?
The AirFrame is incredibly durable and under normal conditions will not fail.
Each AirPole is made of a strong TPU inflation tube that is zipped into a tough
reinforced PE cover. This is then zipped into a heavy duty polyester sleeve in the
tent. The inflation tubes are well protected and need no maintenance. Ideal
operating pressure is between 8 and 12 psi and the poles are tested to 22 psi, a
pressure that is not possible to reach using either the supplied pump or the
optional electric pump. Should one of the AirPoles be damaged, each AirPole can
be isolated from neighbouring poles using the isolation valves. A simple repair
to the AirPole or replacement can then be made. Damage to a single AirPole
may not make the tent unusable.
The strong AirPoles are protected in tough PE covers

and are easily replaced should they be damaged.

An extremely versatile tent in which you can decide
between more living room or more bedroom space.
The Southwold 4 + 2 comes as standard with a four berth
inner tent. A two berth bedroom is available as an option
and simply fits into the opposite end of the tent, still
leaving plenty of living space.
Like all AirFrame tents, the Southwold is incredibly fast to
set up and take down, making camping trips easier than
ever and it only takes one person. You can be inside your
tent within five minutes of arriving on site.
The tent has a door in each side, both with a wet weather
canopy to keep the inside of the tent dry. Both doors have
secondary mesh doors and a full size picture window
for a great view out. Zips at the end of the tent allow the
end panel to be fully opened during good weather and
theres plenty of closable ventilation throughout the tent
to keep you cool in hot weather. Inside the tent the sewn
in groundsheet will keep you dry and snug and theres a
self contained bedroom area that can be divided into two
using the interior curtain or it can be left as one big inner
tent. The front of the inner has storage pockets, extremely
useful for your camping knick-knacks.
The Southwold 4 + 2 makes an ideal touring tent because
its so fast to set up and pack away, but its also big
enough for an extended stay.

Need a big, versatile tent that only takes minutes to
set up? The Southwold 8 could be your solution.
Almost as quick to set up as the 4 + 2 version,
the Southwold 8 is so fast that you can use it for
touring and weekend breaks as well as extended
holidays. At last, a large tent that you can use for a
quick overnight stop.
Inside youll find versatile accommodation for up
to eight people, so its ideal for large families or
groups. The Southwold 8 is a vis--vis style tent,
with two sets of bedrooms facing another. The
inner tents are in a 4 + 2 + 2 configuration giving
plenty of options and privacy.
The four berth inner comes with a roll- away

dividing curtain. Despite the generous bedroom
accommodation theres still plenty of living
space within the tent and the light roof panel
and the plentiful windows add to this feeling of
space. Like all AirFrame tents, it has a fully sewn
in groundsheet to keep draughts and bugs where
they belong outside. Two large doors, both with
a wet weather canopy, provide easy access and
both have a large window.
Outside the tent looks striking, with its modern
colour scheme - youll certainly be the envy of the
campsite.

A truly luxurious package wrapped up into a tent that
takes just a few minutes to set up. The Filey 5 has a
fantastic built-in porch to the front of the tent. The main
tent houses the bedrooms and a living area that are
sealed within the sewn in groundsheet. You can access
this area through the side door or through the door that
leads from the front canopy. This intermediate panel can
be fully closed, rolled back as a door or fully opened
through to the canopy. The large canopy also has a
similar front panel arrangement - it can be fully closed,
opened half way as a door or fully opened to let the
outdoors in and create a sun canopy. The porch comes
with a bathtub groundsheet that can be clipped in or left
out depending upon your requirements. The side door
has a large window and a secondary mosquito mesh
screen. The window opposite can be zipped down
to provide the ultimate in ventilation on really hot days.
The main tent features a roof lining which insulates the
tent, keeping it cooler in hot weather and warmer in cool
weather. This gives you the advantages of polycotton
without the disadvantages of extra weight and being more
difficult to dry. Like all other AirFrame tents, the Filey 5 is
manufactured from heavy duty 150D polyester that we call
Weathershield because of the superb protection it gives
from the weather. We invite you to compare it with any

Filey 6 AIR
The ultimate AirFrame tent. For those who want the
best and need the space the Filey 6 is the last word
in luxury and convenience. Like all the other Kampa
AirFrame tents, it can be pumped up in minutes and
yet, once set up, it provides one of the most stable and
weather resistant tents on the market. Like its namesake,
the Filey 5, it has three distinct areas bedrooms, living
and canopy, all of which can be opened up to each
other or used as independent areas, making this tent
truly versatile. For instance, the canopy can be used as
a wet area meaning that nothing wet need ever reach
the main living area.
The main living area can be accessed through the
porch or the side door and it shares the same front and
intermediate panel arrangements as the Filey 5. The
large rear inner tent can be divided, using the central
curtain, or used as one large bedroom. To the right
hand side youll find an ensuite extension that can be
used as a storage or toilet compartment and can be
closed off with a door. Two Airflow windows can be
zipped out to provide maximum ventilation and the
side door has a mesh screen for bug free ventilation.

Our Classic models feature Kampa Airflow flysheets. The breathable Classic polycotton flysheet provides
all the protection of our polyester flysheets but will make the tent interior feel cooler in hot weather and
warmer in cool weather. The Airflow flysheet is complemented by a premium quality sewn-in groundsheet.
Weathershield Airflow Classic Flysheet
A breathable high quality polycotton flysheet. Dont be fooled by the coated polycotton materials used by some
manufacturers - the coating prevents the material from breathing and therefore takes away all the benefits the Kampa Weathershield Airflow material is totally breathable.
Sealed Groundsheet System
Protects from inclement weather, bugs and other creepy crawlies throughout the entire tent.
The tent is manufactured so that the seam between groundsheet and flysheet is protected from the elements.
Dynalite Aluminium Poles
A strong, lightweight alloy frame that makes handling and transporting your tent easier.

The Croyde 6 Classic is the perfect tent for families looking for the next step up
from a polyester tent but are still looking for great value for money.
The front panel allows for the door to be arranged in a number of stages, from
just a doorway to fully open. Whilst the material is breathable, ventilation can
be found at the rear of the awning with a low level rear vent as well as a zip
close front apex vent. The tent has a fully sewn in groundsheet to keep the
weather and bugs out and the warmth in. Inside youll find a large inner tent that,
if required, can be divided into two bedrooms by using the zipped privacy
curtain. This inner tent has loads of storage in the organiser built into the front.
The upright front wall allows full use of all the interior space and youll appreciate
the generous headroom that provides a spacious interior. The front of the tent is
protected by the large built-in sun canopy that you can shade under on those
sunny days and as its an integral part of the tent, it is sturdier and less fiddly to
set-up unlike some add-on canopies. If not required or in stormy conditions, it

is the perfect choice. The Croyde 8 Classic builds on the
features of its smaller counterpart, the Croyde 6 Classic
and has an extended living area, making it one of the most
spacious tents available. It shares the same rear layout but
also has an oversized two berth bedroom that can be
suspended in the front of the tent to give total sleeping
accommodation for up to eight people.
When not required, the two berth bedroom can be

Building on the success of the polyester version, we are pleased to introduce the
Oxwich 5 to our Classic range. The polyester material of the Oxwich 5 has been
replaced with Kampas polycotton Weathershield Airflow material allowing the tent
to breathe, reducing the chance of condensation making the tent more comfortable.
The Oxwich 5 Classic is designed to be very easy to set-up by a single person, with
aluminium poles replacing fibreglass. The design is a lot sturdier whilst still being
lightweight due to the properties and advantages of aluminium and once erected
provides superior accommodation for up to five people.
The side canopy entrance provides sheltered wet weather access to the large living
area and a secondary mesh door to let fresh air in but keep the bugs out.
On sunny days the front door can be rolled up or set-up as a sun canopy using the
canopy poles supplied with the tent. The bedrooms stretch across the rear of the
tent and can sleep up to five; a divider is also in place if you require two separate
compartments. The Oxwich 5 Classic also offers superior headroom and a large living
area with panoramic windows making the interior light and airy and offering a great
view out. Each window has its own privacy blind that can easily be stowed away
into easy store pockets.
Back inside, the tent has a fully sewn in groundsheet and the inner tents have very
useful organiser pockets in the front wall as well as pockets inside.

Weathershield 4000mm Flysheet
A high quality polyester flysheet with a superior 4000mm hydrostatic head. The material is specially treated to offer
advanced protection against UV degradation and is fire retardant.
Sealed Groundsheet System
Protects from inclement weather, bugs and other creepy crawlies throughout the entire tent. The tent is manufactured so
that the seam between groundsheet and flysheet is protected from the elements.
Dynasteel Poles
Strong, galvanised poles. The different parts of the frame are linked together for easy pitching and, where necessary, are

Fibreglass Poles
We use tough, high quality fibreglass for our poles and also carefully select the diameter to ensure that the pole is strong

The largest tent in the Kampa stable, the Broadhaven 8 will

accommodate the largest family in complete comfort. This striking
tent features a row of picture windows, for a great view out, and
each of the front panels can be rolled up to create an alfresco feel in
good weather. One set of canopy poles is supplied enabling one
of the front panels to be set up as a sun canopy. The bedrooms are
set at the back of the tent and feature two separate two berth inner
tents and a four berth inner that could also be used as an extra large
master bedroom for two. To the left hand side of the living space
is a useful storage area behind a curtain that can be zipped closed.
To the right hand side of the tent is an extra large built in porch area.
This is an ideal space to live in during the day and the wall panel
can either be used as a doorway or completely opened up to let
the outside in and create a large sun canopy. This porch also acts
as a superb wet weather entrance to keep the main tent dry during
inclement weather. Despite its size, the Broadhaven is still simple to
set up and once erected, is exceptionally stable thanks to its robust
steel frame.

Croyde 4 Series 2
This high specification four berth tent is bound to be
a big hit in the 2013 market. It offers so much at such
a competitive price including the large built-in sun
canopy. Inside theres generous bedroom space for
up to four and a spacious living area with great views
out through the large picture windows.
There are two side doors, one with wet weather
protection and one that can be set up as a sun canopy
with the canopy poles supplied. Both have mesh
screens. The front panel can be opened in three
different positions doorway, half open or fully open.
The Croyde 4 also features attachments allowing the
fitting of the optional Storm Tie Down Kit. This kit assists
the guy lines in very windy weather and, importantly,
pull on the frame rather than the material.

all the best features of the previous model but has some superb new features, the most

the Croyde 8 is the perfect choice. Building on the success
and with all the features of the Croyde 6, the Croyde 8 has an
extended living area, making it one of the most spacious tents
available. It shares the same rear bedroom layout as its smaller
brother but also has an oversized two berth bedroom that can
be suspended in the front of the tent to give total sleeping
accommodation for up to eight. When not required the two
berth bedroom can be omitted and you can make the most of
the interior space.

A range of three tents providing comfortable accommodation
for between four and eight people. The bedrooms face each
other (vis--vis) with the large living area between ideal for
extra privacy.
The impressive windows make the interior feel light and
airy with plenty of headroom. Access comes from the two
large side doors, one of which has a protective wet weather
canopy for access during inclement weather and both have a
secondary mesh door to keep the bugs at bay.
The opposite side door can be set up as a sun canopy using
the poles supplied. Both sets of inner tents have a useful

The Watergate 8 has a 4 + 2 + 2 inner tent layout. Unlike some

Looking for a family tent with plenty of living space? The Bamburgh 6 could be for you.
The bedrooms, at the rear of the tent, open out into a very large hexagonal shaped living
area large enough to accommodate the six people the tent can sleep. The bedrooms are
full height but the living area headroom is exceptional giving a feeling of space and airiness
not often found in tents of this price range.
The living space is complimented by the large front porch area ideal for kicking your
shoes off, for storage or just for relaxing in a chair. The front door of the porch can also be
completely rolled back to create a protected sun canopy. The intermediate wall, between
the extension and the living area, can also be rolled to one side to create one large open
area. There are two large doors either side of the living area both with a mesh screen to
keep the bugs at bay. To complete this superb package, the Bamburgh 6 has a sewn in

Two very high specification tents that are probably
unique, at this price level, in having a built-in front
porch. The intermediate dividing wall, between the
porch and living area, can be half opened to create
a doorway through or fully opened to give one large
living area. The same can be done with the front
porch door.
The main tent has a fully sewn-in groundsheet to
keep draughts and bugs out and the front porch has
a bathtub groundsheet that you can install or remove
depending upon how you want to use the porch.
The Woolacombe has a hybrid steel and fibreglass

frame that makes the tent very quick to set up but stable
when on site and compact when packed down making
it easy to fit in the car. Unlike some similar tents, the
Woolacombes fibreglass poles are self supporting and
do not rely on or put any extra stress onto the steel poles,
making the Woolacombe very stable in adverse weather
conditions.

from the elements - the Hayling series offers superb
specifications at unbelievable prices. Whichever
model you choose, the Hayling is very quick to set
up and compact to carry in the car. Sleeping up to
six, they offer a large living area and a great view out
through the panoramic windows. For 2013 the depth
of the Hayling 4 has been increased by 20 cm, making
the living area much more usable and the tent even
more comfortable.
The built in front canopy protects the front of the tent
from inclement weather but when its sunny the large
stable door can be opened and the side panel can
be rolled up to let the fresh air in. This side door also
has a secondary mesh panel to allow a breeze through
but keeps out those pesky bugs. The tent has a fully
sewn in groundsheet and the inner tent is divided by
a curtain that can be rolled away if not required. An
organiser in the front wall of the inner tent completes
this superb package.

The Oxwich is great for short or long stays. Its quick to set up,
making it ideal for touring, but is comfortable for longer stays
because of its generous headroom and high specification. The
Oxwich is available in three sizes, the smaller sizes suitable
for three to four people whilst the largest will accommodate
up to six. All three models have large living areas with large
panoramic windows making the interior light and airy and giving
a great view out. Each window has its own privacy blind. The
large front door panel can easily be converted into a sun canopy
using the canopy poles supplied and there is also access
through the side door that has a wet weather protection canopy
and a secondary mesh door to let fresh air in but keep the bugs
out. Back inside, the tent has a fully sewn in groundsheet and
the inner tents have very useful organiser pockets in the front
wall as well as pockets inside. For longer stays a large front
canopy is available for each model.
