Open to YOUTH through Grade 12 as of January 1,

2016 OR 19 yrs. old as of December 31, 2016

$20 Per Animal after

June 11th

RULES:

No Steers are to be unloaded before 4:00PM, Friday, June 17th

Steers will be weighed from 6:30AM to 9:00AM only Sat., June 18th
Show will include FEEDER STEERS/STARTED CALVES up to 600 lbs.
Over 600 lbs. will be DAIRY STEERS and will have no upper weight limit
All Steers must be DEHORNED, CASTRATED and must have an EARTAG
Feeder Steers/Started Calves and Dairy Steers must be 100% Dairy
blood (Holstein, Brown Swiss, Guernsey, Jersey, Milking Shorthorn or Ayrshire)
Animals exhibiting any communicable disease will not be allowed in the
barn and will not be eligible to show
The Committee reserves the right to evaluate any animal for breed discrepancy or communicable disease * All Committee Decisions Are Final
Pre-Third Graders are eligible to show FEEDER STEER/STARTED CALVES only
Bring your own bedding * straw is allowed
YOU MUST CLEAN YOUR STALL(S) BEFORE DEPARTING FOR HOME

If possible, class size will not exceed 7 steers * Show Sticks are optional
NO pumping or artificial filling allowed * NO artificial coloring - except feet allowed
General comb or brush down with natural direction of hair growth * mineral oil or
grooming oil is permitted
Face and long ear hair SHOULD be clipped
All out of state animals must provide health inspection paperwork to show
Youth Showmanship class is free to exhibitor with steer entered in paid weight
class
SHOW WILL START AT 10:45AM * SATURDAY JUNE 18th
