200 B.C.: Perytonian Civil War.
331 A.D.: Start of the Lanack Era on Tirol.
1044: Birth of Zor.
1095 through 1192: Zor explores the Fourth Quadrant.
1220: Zor visits Optera and contacts the Invid. Nimuul overthrows the Tirolian Republic to form
the Empire.
1304: Birth of Lron.
1364: First Flower of Life experiments on Tirol.
1400: First Protoculture created, rise of the Robotech Masters.
1439: Mass cloning of Tiresian triads begins.
1465: End of the Great Transition.
1490: Start of the Robotech Era.
1543: Razing of Optera by Zentraedi.
1573: Battle of Singken.
1581: Invid warfare against the Robotech Masters' empire escalates to encroach the Empire
itself.
1616: The Yawben revolt.
1633: Consolidation of the Local Group by the Robotech Masters is completed.
1725: Start of the Divisive Wars.
1732: Tiresian revolt put down by Robotech Masters. Bioengineering experiments begin on the
Robotech Masters' colony planet of Varauta 1. Within five years, the scientists begin
developing new lifeforms meant to replace the Zentraedithe Protodeviln; "spiritia" science is
invented.
1740: A Robotech Masters scout ship surveys Earth, but returns to Tirolspace without landing
on Earth. Zor keeps the existence of Earth a secret from the Robotech Master and Elder Triads
himself. The Zentraedi assault the Invid planet of Tawkhan, a campaign that lasts several
months.
1742: The Protodeviln revolt on Varauta 1 and begin brainwashing the colonists. War begins
between Varauta and the Robotech Masters, but the Zentraedi are excluded from the fight at
first. The Varauta develop their own technology and even send fleets of ships against both the
Tiresians and the Invid.
1743: The Robotech Masters retaliate in force against the Varauta. A counter-measure to the
Protodevilns' spiritia weapons is discovered and used to defeat them on Varauta 1. Renegade
Varauta forces continue to plague the Masters sporadically.
1780: The Robotech Empire reaches its height. .
1800: The first Robotech Factory is built. The Invid develop Inorganic Mecha.
1843: Zor communicates with the Haydon IV Awareness. Construction of the SDF-1.
1838: Birth of Crysta.
1845 through 1875: Zor's seeding voyages around the Local Group.
1899: Zor steals the Protoculture Matrix. Soon afterward, Zor is killed by the Invid. End of the
Divisive Wars.
1908: Birth of Tesla.
1925: Creation of Khyron.
1940: First campaign of Ranaath's Star. The Zentraedi take over the Varauta "problem" as well,
but are told to stay away from Varauta 1 and any other "Micronian" planets.

2001: The first United Earth Government is formed; Harlan J. Nivven is elected the first
President. The U.E.G. sanctions the new Robotech Defense Forces. The first prototype battloids
are made. Bases on the Moon and Mars are constructed. The Robotech Academy is founded.
Rick Hunter wins his first World Aerobatics Championship title. Birth of Kashiya Staczny.
2002: Mars Base Sara is destroyed. Alaska Base is built; Grand Cannon construction begins.
Births of Lynn-Jason and Gavin Murdock. Rem is created. The submarine Lemuria begins its
guerilla campaign in the Pacific.
2003: The A.R.M.D. Armor space fortresses are built, as well as a series of stations at Earth's
LaGrange points. Centaur hovertanks enter production. The "Faithful" cult forms. Births of
Loweth Sczanna and Frank Lacey. Jonathan Wolff marries Catherine Montand.
2004: Births of Jack Baker and Angelo Dante. The first Destroids are built. Moon Base Aluce
operational. Construction of South American and Australian Grand Cannons begin (neither are
finished). First flight of the Veritech fighter prototype. A terrorist attempt to destroy the
Robotech Academy is thwarted--Lisa Hayes is given special commendation for her efforts.
Death of Nadia Malanova.
2005: Births of Reuis Keaginea and Karen Penn. The Veritech VF-1 fighter enters small-scale
production. Robert A. Rysling succeeds Harlan Nivven as President of U.E.G., holds office till
the Zentraedi Rain of Death. The Lemuria is destroyed after its failed attack on the Alaska
Grand Cannon.
2006: Birth of Bela. Carrier Prometheus enters service. The St. Petersburg Rebellion takes
place--the last time a human-on-human full-scale conflict occurs on Earth. The rebels are
brutally crushed by the U.E.G. Defense Forces, planting the seeds of dissent in Russia that
would later result in the E.B.S.I.S. Earl J. Hunter is killed in an airshow stunt accident.
2007: The Veritech enters mass production. Births of Sean Philips, Anton Kosmas, Mark
Landry, Becky Franklin, and Kelly Stevens.
2008: Birth of Jonathan Wolff II. Mars Base Sara operational. Moon Bases Archimedes and
Copernicus operational.
2009: The First Robotech War begins. Births of Gnea, Michael Townsend, Scott Bernard, and
James "Lunk" Cooper.
2010: The SDF-1 returns to the Pacific Ocean. Alaska Grand Cannon operational. The Ontario
Disaster. Death of Roy Fokker. Births of Marie Crystal, Louie Nichols and Kim Sri Pong.
2011: Birth of Nova Satori. The Zentraedi Grand Fleet is defeated, but not before the Rain of
Death that destroys 70% of Earth's civilization.
2012: Births of Dana Sterling, Bowie Grant and Lancer. The Robotech Masters leave Tirol for
Earth.

2013: Births of Bekka Cade, Eric Lederstrum and Jeremy Alastair. The RDF captures a Robotech
Factory from the Masters. The SDF-2 is built. Khyron's terror campaign against the RDF. A small
flotilla of new starships ventures from Earthspace and discovers planet Eden.
2014: The First Robotech War ends. The Initiates Mordecai invent antimatter-based starship
propulsion. The first mech of the "second-generation" Destroid design series is built. The VF-4
Lightning and the Strike Veritech both enter limited service.
2015: The Army of the Southern Cross is officially formed. Work on the SDF-3 begins. The Riots
in Brasilia erupt and are put down by Col. Leonard.
2016: Birth of Rook Bartley. The Eastern Bloc of Soviet Independent States secedes from the
U.E.G. The RDF and Zentraedi battle at the South American Grand Cannon. The Army of the
Southern Cross begins development of its own mecha. Cavern City is founded. The first Wolff
Pack is formed. The first Zentraedi "Stinger" mecha appear, as do the first organized
"Malcontent" groups. The Southern Cross raids Cairo. Lorelei Network project started. Hades
(unmanned) Mission to Pluto begins.
2017: The Eastern Bloc begins the Africa Conquest--the Soldier and Destroyer battloids appear
for the first time. The city of Oasis bombed by Zentraedi Malcontents. Other Zentraedi attempt
to hijack SDF-3. Birth of Rand. Minmei meets Janice Em, begins hosting Lorelei Network
broadcasts.
2018: The Malcontent Uprisings. Border conflicts cause friction between E.B.S.I.S. and
Southern Cross. Lorelei Network shuts down; the scandal forces Braxton Milburn out of power.
2019: The First Accord is signed, making the Southern Cross an official arm of the U.E.G. The
first Alpha fighters see service in the RDF.
2020: Rick and Lisa marry; the REF leaves for Tirol. The end of "militarized" Zentraedi on
Earth, as the Congo War concludes. Jupiter Base Io completed; Mars Base Langdon
operational. Giles Academy founded.
2021: Birth of Annie. Birth of Ivano Gepernichi. The VF-14 heavy fighter enters service, but is
soon rejected in favor of the Alpha and Logan designs.
2022: The REF arrives at Tirol and defeats the Invid force there. Leonard moves the Southern
Cross Headquarters from Brazilia to Monument as part of the Second Accord. Birth of Phradi
Dak Cham. Sentinals War (renamed First Invid War) begins.
2023: The Sentinels meet the REF. The downfall of the first U.E.G. Anarchy Wars begin, last
until the Southern Cross restores order in 2026. The mecha of First Robotech War-design are
phased out. Lazlo Zand succeeds in restoring the SDF-1 "EVE" computer to function.
2024: Karbarra is liberated; Praxis and Sentinels' flagship Farrago destroyed. Garuda is also
liberated. Murder of Johnny Craigle. Birth of Gamlin Kizaki.
2025: Carpenter leaves Eden for Earth. Haydon IV and Spheris are liberated. Birth of Aurora
Sterling. T. R. Edwards flees for Optera after ruining much of Tirol. The REF 13th Fleet arrives
at Varauta 1; contact is lost. Timeframe of "Cyberpirates." Rollout of the VF-11 Thunderbolt
fighter; the VAB-2 heavy bomber enters service.
2026: Breetai's REF Zentraedi assault Optera; both Breetai and the Invid Regent die in
combat. Peryton is liberated and redeemed by the Sentinels. The second United Earth
Government is formed by Southern Cross leaders under Wyatt Moran. Birth of Basara Nekki.
2027: Optera falls to the REF and the Sentinels. Birth of Drannin. The Robotech Masters enter
Earthspace. Battle of Vladivostok. Civil unrest in Tokyo, attempted overthrow of Misui's
government thwarted. Mars Base Langdon destroyed by the Masters.
2028: The Second Robotech War begins. Carpenter arrives on Earth. Wolff leaves for Earth.
Birth of Roy Hunter. Invention of Cyclone mecha.
2030: The Second War ends. Wolff arrives on Earth; his ship is pirated by Dana Sterling.
2031: Invid Invasion of Earth. Dana arrives at Tirol. Birth of Mylene, last child of Max and
Miriya. A fictionalized film version of the Macross Saga is made and released.
2032: Optera is renamed "New Praxis". The Initiates Mordecai develop Shock Diver mecha and
the Xalon Process of life-extension. Death of Annette Corbeau. Invid Regent is killed on Optera.
First Invid War ends. Invid Regis gathers remaining Invid forces and retreats to unknown
system.
2033: REF Venus Attack Group, led by Colonel Johnathon Wolff, arrives at Earth with warning
about Invid.
Dana Sterling and remains of the 15th ATAC hijack Johnathon Wolff's flagship, the Warrior-class
destroyer RSS WolfPack, and return to Tirol along with 200 clone survivors from the Robotech
Master's main mothership.
2034: The Mars Group starts the Third Robotech War on Earth. Scott Bernard begins his quest
for the Reflex Point.

2035: Invid Regis arrives in Sol system. Second Invid War Begins. The Jupiter Group is wiped
out after Earth planetfall by the Invid. Bernard's troop locates the Reflex Point just as the
Saturn Group arrives. The Third War ends. Scott Bernard takes the last Saturn Group ship on a
search for the SDF-3, which did not arrive in Earthspace.
2036: Birth of Maria Bartley. The Neld Zentraedi attack outposts of Earth's solar system and
are repelled. The Second Invid Invasion of Earth. Jupiter Station Io becomes the headquarters
of the Re-Unified Earth Forces.
2038: Battle of Reflex Point. The REF Jupiter Attack Group (95% of remaining REF fleet) arrives
in the Sol system.
Invid Regis abandons Earth, but approximately 98% of Jupiter Attack Group is destroyed.
Second Invid War Ends. SDF-3 Pioneer is lost in space. Lt. Cmdr. Scott Bernard and
Commander Vince Grant lead a rescue mission in the Haydonite cruiser Ark Angel, the only
surviving Jupiter Group command ship.
Invid Regis and remains of the Invid race settle on a remote world on the very edge of the
galaxy. Planet is named New Optera. First crops of the Invid Flower of Life do not do well on
New Optera. Invid scientists estimate that the race will starve in 6-9 months unless a
temporary food supply can be found. Regis begins to consider re-occupation of Earth.
2039: VF-19 and VF-21 fighter prototypes developed. Testing begins on Eden to find the best
of the two Veritechs.
Regis creates the Stage 6 Invid as leaders for the Earth Occupation Forces. Invid forces return
and reoccupy Earth.
Remains of Jupiter Attack Group attempt to defend against the Invid but are destroyed. Third
Invid War begins.
2040: Stage 6 Invid slowly become corrupted by their power. Friction between Stage 5 and
Stage 6 Invid starts to increase. Rook, Rand, Lancer, and other heroes of the Second Invid War
form Rook's Knights, a large resistance group operating primarily in western North America.
Rook and Lancer are elected co-leaders of the group.
2041: The Battle of South Dakota. Stage 6 Invid develop the "Fortress Earth" plan to blockade
the planet with a series of powerful orbiting hives. Construction of the Invid Space Hive ring
begins.
2042: Back at Tirol, Colonels John Korcheck and Roger Harris receive approval for an Earth
reconnaisance mission. Preparations for REF Icarus Recon Group begin. Anton Kosmas betrays
Rook's Knights and leads the group into an ambush. Kosmas detonates a nuclear device killing
most of the Knights, although Rook, Lancer and the others heroes survive. The surviving
members of Rook's Knights break up and go their separate ways.
2043: Births of Kei Katsuragi and Olsen Bernaux. The REF 5th Fleet arrives on planet Lux. Invid
complete Space Hives. New Invid mecha designs begin to appear on Earth.
2044: Icarus Recon Group launched for Earth. Tenative plans for REF Prometheus Attack Group
begin. Final approval is witheld pending results of Icarus mission.
Icarus fleet arrives in Solar System near Jupiter. Attempts to contact REF Jupiter Base Io and
REF Moon Base Aluce II are unsuccessful. Recon patrols reveal that Jupiter Base Io has been
completely destroyed by an unknown force. Icarus begins to move towards Earth.
Advance squad of ships are sent ahead of Icarus fleet to recon Earth and attempt to contact
Moon Base Aluce II. Ships are destroyed upon entering Earthspace by Invid Space Hives. Only
one ship escapes to warn the Icarus fleet. Icarus forces begins hit-and-run attacks against
Invid space defenses in the hopes of getting small groups of mecha to Earth to contact
resistance groups. The LaGrange Massacre. Icarus forces are ambushed by large Invid force
during retrieval of Earth personel. Col. Harris splits the survivors into two groups. Harris leads
the majority of Icarus' remaining ships and mecha against the Invid, while Col. Korcheck
retreats to Tirol in the heavily-damaged flagship RSS Icarus. Icarus returns to Tirol with data
collected by the Icarus mission. Final approval is given to Prometheus Attack Group.
2045: The Macross 7 fleet arrives at Lux. The Dark Years begin. Invid forces begin mass
enslavements of civilians and mass extermination missions against Earth Resistance forces.
Resistance forces begin to take heavy casualties. Morale begins to falter among terran forces.
The Ark Angel returns to Tirol after having unsuccessfully searched for the SDF-3 Pioneer for
over 7 years. The Pioneer and its crew are listed as missing and presumed dead. The Ark
Angel and its crew are assigned to the Prometheus Mission.
2046: Death of Hohsq, the final Zentraedi Warlord on Earth. The Mordecai SDF leaves Terran
Space for Andromeda Galaxy. Planet Lux is destroyed, the Macross 7 fleet is forced to venture
on to Varauta 1.
Operation Starfall succeeds; first major victory against Invid since 2044. A small group of
resistance fighters manage to infiltrate an Invid Space Hive and sabotage the power core. The

Space Hive falls out of orbit and burns up in the atmosphere, creating a spectacular fireball
that inspires terran forces around the world.
Col. Roger Harris killed by Stage 6 Invid while defending civilians.
2047: Concentrated attacks by Invid forces bring terran resistance to the edge of collapse.
Stage 5 Invid Sera and Marlene propose Operation Emissary. The two women will infiltrate an
Invid cargo ship and travel to New Optera to confront the Regis. Resistance leaders reluctantly
agree. Lancer, Rand, Rook, Lunk, and Annie accompany them on their mission. REF
Prometheus Attack Group is completed and launched towards Earth. Arrival of the Prometheus
Group inspires terran resistance groups. Reinforcements and New Mecha begin to arrive on
Earth. However, REF starships still cannot penetrate the Invid space defenses. As battles
continue, Prometheus group begins to weaken due to lack of supplies. Marlene and Sera arrive
at New Optera and contact the Regis. The Regis is incensed at the brutality of the Stage 6
Invid, and travels to Earth herself to end the war. Regis assumes command of most Invid
forces on Earth and orders them to attack the Stage 6 Invid in their Space Hives. The Stage 6
Invid resist with their own forces of Inorganics and loyal/controlled Invid, but are eventually
defeated by combined attacks from the Regis and the Prometheus fleet. Space Hive defense
ring is destroyed. Regis orders all Invid in Earthspace to return to New Optera. All Stage 5 Invid
are offered the choice of staying behind or returning to New Optera. Stage 6 Invid are stripped
of their powers and banished from the Invid race. A few stay on Earth and attempt to
discreetly build their own empires. Regis leaves Earthspace forever. Third Invid War ends.
2048: Prometheus Fleet returns to Tirol. The Ark Angel and most of its crew stays behind with
a representative group from the REF in an attempt to foster a new world government on Earth.
Local Group Galactic Conference is held on Haydon IV. Tirol (now home to REF as well as
Tirolians), Fantoma (home to remaining Zentraedi) Karbarra, New Praxis, Garuda, Spheris,
Haydon IV, and Peryton form the Sentinels Alliance. Remains of REF fleet and other surviving
space forces are combined into the Robotech Guardian Forces (RGF), the military arm of the
Sentinels Alliance. Back on Earth, negotiations to form a new world government fail. New
countries form overnight and begin to stake territorial claims. Ex-EBSIS forces seize South
America to form the South American Coalation (SAC).
REF survivors (Non-RGF related) and North American resistance fighters form the United
States of North America (USNA). Other pocket republics continue to form around the world.
SAC and USNA quickly become Earth's major superpowers due to their large supplies of
mecha. Era of Rebuilding begins.
2050: Birth of Shaia Thoov.
2051: 7-Day War begins on Earth, between the SAC and USNA. The Ark Angel, led by Scott
Bernard, steps in to end the war when SAC attempts to use nuclear weapons on USNA targets.
Panama Treaty signed, establishing the rebuilt Panama Canal as the official boundary between
the SAC and USNA. In addition, Earth leaders agree for the planet to become protectorate of
Sentinels Alliance. The protectorate agreement is not popular with many terrans. AntiSentinels terrorist groups appear on Earth.The first variable mecha for civilian use are created,
for search-and-rescue and related operation.
2054: A unit of renegade Zentraedi attack an Earth merchant ship in interstellar space. Soon
after, the Earth forces face the Zentraedi at the Pluto defense line and defeat them. Another
Robotech Factory Satellite is captured in the process.
Late 2050's: The VF-XX prototype is made from the captured technology.
2062: The Terran Freedom Corps raids Earth's orbital tower and detonates a dimensional warp
bomb.
2063: Birth of Athena Henderson.
2065: Birth of Mimsy Laarz.
2072: The VF-2S Valkyrie II is introduced to Earth forces.
2075: Births of Silvie Gena and Hibiki Kanzaki.
2079: The second-generation civilian type variable mecha (VC-079) is introduced. Dennis Lone
covers the Third Battle of Pluto.
2082: Kei Katsuragi emerges from the time warp and joins the crew of the Glomar. The first
Orguss mecha is constructed soon after. Birth of Donan Kashim.
2083: The Space-Time Oscillation Bomb is deactivated, and the temporal paradox almost
entirely resolved. Mu robots and many Chirum and Emaan mecha are deposited on an
alternative Earth.
2086: The VF-2J Ikarus is introduced; the Valkyrie II is modified for dedicated space use by
adding the Super Armed Pack system.
2089: In a span of less than two weeks, the Marduk overwhelm the majority of Earth's naval
forces and come close to unleashing a Second Rain of Death. However, resistance led by

Ishtar and the Macross succeed in overthrowing the Marduk leader Ingues and allowing an
armistice.
2125: Birth of Helmut LaCock.
2131: Birth of Rocky Andrew.
2132: Births of Canary Donette and Krinn Kashim.
2133: Birth of Daisy Osel.
c. 2149: Political strife on the colony planet Deroia escalates to full-scale war. The planetary
governor calls in forces from Earth.
c. 2327: Eve reawakens from her cryogenic hibernation in Eden City.
c. 2380: Revilia and Zafrin arm for war on an alternative Earth.
