VTEC MENA 2014

The need for a workforce with the appropriate and relevant
skills and knowledge in the energy sector cannot be overemphasized. In order for the energy industry to overcome
various strategic challenges, we must seek innovative and
sustainable methods for ensuring employee development and
empowerment. Developing human potential, therefore, lies at
the core of ADMA-OPCOs corporate ethos under the umbrella
of ADNOC.
We adamantly believe that building capacity, knowledge,
and skills to improve systems of leadership and performance
evaluation are prerequisites for taking the lead in developing a
knowledge-based economy. And as UAE transitions to this kind
of information economy, we will continue in ADMA-OPCO to be
there taking a leading role in unlocking the potential of UAEs
human assets with the ultimate goal of transforming from a
company of which our country is proud to a company of which
the world is proud.
Therefore, we took pride in hosting Getenergys VTEC MENA
2014 recently. We are pretty sure that this leading event that
brought together a large number of prestigious leaders from
government, industry and education sectors, could generate
way forwards in face of the challenges besetting the training of
UAE nationals within the Oil & Gas industry.
