Market Research conclusion:


As a starting point, I researched British music magazines using Google and made notes
on what came up. The above magazines were all featured in a Top Ten Music Magazines
in the UK article and decided to explore each of them and find some facts about them. I
decided to expand my research to my local Co-op to see what was on sale and have a
look at the designs each magazine used. In addition, many of the above magazines have
media packs available online allowing me to access statistics on each magazine, such as
circulation figures, and find out what each magazine is about. I discovered that
magazines of a more alternative genre have a larger circulation and appear to be most
popular in the UK. However, despite the successes of Kerrang! and Rocksound, the
most popular magazine appears to be Q which spans a broader range of music and
artists.
