Examples to use maintenance, operational and command manual are
discussed below:

Maintenance Manual
Example: How to use maintenance manual if problems like user
disconnection and modem activation occur during daily operations.
1. Fault analysis and location refer to Chapter 2 ADSL line Fault in
Maintenance Manual for ZXDSL 9210 (V5.0.0) ZTE Broadband
Universal Access System, and carry out fault analysis and location as
instructed in this section.
2. For the line disconnection, refer to Chapter 3 and find the solutions
regarding frequent line disconnections, the corresponding fault type is
ADSL line fault.
3. To improve the Line quality following are the two methods:
Software Methods:
i.

Decrease ADSL bandwidth.

ii. Change the line type from Fast only into Interleave.
Physical Methods:
i.

Improve internal lines quality, DF (Distribution Frame) jumpers and

external lines, and ensure the connectors are well in contact.

ii. Minimize the length of parallel cable used along the lead-in
telephone line, and use copper twisted pair if possible.
