Read this Product Disclosure Sheet before you decide to take out the Aircraft Hull War & Allied Perils Insurance
Policy. Be sure to also read the policy wording for full terms and conditions.

1) What is this product about?


This policy provides coverage for loss or damage to aircraft hull due to war and allied perils.

2) What are the cover / benefits provided?


This policy covers loss of or damage to the aircraft stated in the Policy Schedule against claims excluded from the
Insured's Hull "All Risks" Policy as caused by war, invasion, acts of foreign enemies, hostilities (whether war be
declared or not), civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, martial law, military or usurped power or attempts
at usurpation of power etc as per policy. This policy also indemnifies you against any payment properly made in
respect of threats against the aircraft, its passengers or crew and any extra expenses incurred following the
confiscation or hi-jacking of the aircraft.

3) What is the premium I have to pay?


The premium is noted on the quotation documents. It is calculated according to various factors, of which the main
factors are:
Limits of Indemnity (including sub-limits);
Values Insured/Exposed (including aggregate limitations);
Level of Deductible;
Level of Acquisition costs/Tax;
Profit Commissions/No Claims Returns;
Loss/Incidents;
Other risks factors may also be taken into consideration:
Utilization;
Turnover;
Passenger loading / through put / profile;
Operational Changes;
Pilots;
Management including other general factors that may affect the risk profile

4) What are the fees and charges I have to pay?

5) What are some of the key terms and conditions that I should be aware of?

Importance of Disclosure: You should disclose to the best of your knowledge all material facts and confirm all
the declarations are true and correct; otherwise your policy may be invalidated
Variation in risk: You must notify us of any material change in the circumstances or nature of the risks; if not
any claim arising under such change will not be recoverable.
No Admission of Liability: You should not admit liability, offer, promise or pay to claimant without our written
consent
Premium Warranty: The premium due must be paid and received by the insurer within 60 days from the
inception date of the policy / endorsement / renewal certificate
If you fail to pay the premium within the period, your policy will be automatically cancelled and AIG is
entitled to the pro rata premium on the period you have been on risk.

6) What are the major exclusions under this policy?

War (whether there be a declaration of war or not) between the United Kingdom, the United States of
America, France, the Russian Federation, the Peoples Republic of China (save that this exclusion will not
apply if the aircraft is in the air when an outbreak of war occurs until it has landed)
Confiscation, nationalisation, seizure, restraint, detention, etc
Emission, discharge, release or escape of any chemical, biological or biochemical materials
Any debt; failure to provide bond or security under a court order or otherwise
The repossession or attempted possession of the aircraft
Delay, loss of use
Any detonation, hostile or otherwise of any device employing atomic or nuclear fission/fusion
Any use, hostile or otherwise of radioactive contamination or matter
Any use, hostile or otherwise of an electromagnetic pulse
Violates any US sanction laws

7) Can I cancel my policy?


You may cancel your policy by giving us 7 days prior notice to the end of the 3 month period from inception of the
policy. No refund premium will be given.

8) What do I need to do if there are changes to my contact details?


It is important that you inform us of any change in your contact details to ensure that all correspondences reach
you in a timely manner.
