Mt. Sentinel is excited to introduce a new and exciting outdoor experiential academy,
starting in February of 2011. The academy will cater to grade 12 students who will
complete 4 courses over a semester, including Outdoor Skills and Forestry. Courses will
be experientially based, and will require students to take their learning into the outdoors
for extended periods of time in all weather conditions.

As this will be the first year offering the program, we are in the process of building our
inventory of equipment for the successful delivery of the program. To this end, if any
individual, families or businesses have old (usable) outdoor gear available for donation
please contact the school. Any contributions would be greatly appreciated.
