Thank you so much! Second and third command prompt did not work as such but after restart
taskbar worked again so i am guessing it is the whole process that fixed it. :)

When I pasted the command and clicked enter, a bunch of red words popped up. Is it suppose
to happen?

+NinjaB0y88 I found that the easiest way was to do WindowsKey+E navigate to
C:\Windows\System32 Open CMD as administrator (Because it'll be so much more
annoying to do that by commands), then run the commands.
If keyboard shortcuts don't work, you could try creating a shortcut on your desktop by
rightclicking, then running that as administrator.

Shane Jayaaekara 5 days ago

+NinjaB0y88 go to task manager FILE > New task >type power shell , remmber to check
the box for admin... ! :)

+Aneish Arora because after you copy and paste, there is a ( - ) that needs to be
manually delete after AppXManifest.xml. example ( AppXManifest-.xml ) there is a
(-).xml that will need to be manually delete

Well, I did both commands as directed, then restarted. I noticed prior to the restart that the
icons for the Store and the new browser (forgot its name) were gone. After the restart, they
are still gone. (I don't care; I wanted to remove the Store anyway and I use Chrome preferably.
Just an observation.) After a long startup with the spinning wheel by the arrow...still no Start
menu. Just a short little spin by the arrow. Guess I'll try solution #2 now.... Really not
surprised. After all, MS touted the return of the Start button, so why would they actually bother

Patel, thanks for posting but, it seems when I do the 2nd command (after Powershell), it
states,
"Deployment operation progress: C: \Program
Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.VCLibs.120.00_12.0.21005.1_x86__8wekyb3d8bbwe\AppXMa
