PowerPoint :
- From the different ways of presentation during the design
stage :
1- Normal : It is the default way of viewing the presentation.
2- Sorter View : in which the slides appear minimized and we
can use the slides easily and quickly .
Using the Slides:
Add A New Slide :
Open Insert menu and select New Slide .
Delete a slide from the presentation
Open Edit menu and select Delete Slide .
Copy a Slide :
Right click on the slide , select Copy and in the new location
select Paste from the shortcut menu .
Cut a Slide :
Right click on the slide , select Cut and in the new location
select Paste .
Slide Transitions :
Add a transition to the slides :
1- Open Slide Show menu and select Slide Transition .
2- Select the required transition from the menu that will appear
on the right of the program window .
3- We can control the speed from Speed .
Transition to another slide by the mouse and automatically
- From the options, select on Mouse Click .
- To transit automatically , select Automatically After and
select the period in seconds for transiting to another slide .
- To add a sound when transiting from a slide to another ,
select the required sound from Sound and to select a certain
sound from your computer, select Other Sound .

 Custom Animation
Add an animation to an object in the slide :
1- By opening Slide Show menu and select Custom Animation
after selecting the object which needs to apply the effects on
it .
2-From the window that will appear , click on the arrow beside
Add Effect .
3- Select Entrance from the menu that will appear to select the
way of the object entrance to the slide .
Play a sound with animation :
1- Open the arrow which is beside the object name after adding
it to the window and select Effect Option .
2- To select a sound your computer, select Other Sound .
Change or Remove the animation :
By selecting the animation which will be changed or deleted
from the Custom Animation window and click on Change
button to change the animation or Click on Remove to remove it
.
Start Animation :
From Start menu , select the animation ( On Mouse Click
With Previous After Previous ) .
Animation Direction :
We can change the direction of the animation from the
Animation Direction .
Change the Speed :
From Speed .
Printing :
Printing the slides of the presentation :
To print the slides :
1- Open File menu .
2- Select Print .
3- Select the main options of the printing .

a- Select the type of the printer from Name.

b- Select the Print Range :
- All : To print all the slides .
- Current Slide .
- Slides : to print the slides which we type their numbers .
c- Print What :
- Slides : To print each slide in a separated page .
- Handouts : To print a number of pages in each page .
- Notes Pages : To print the notes pages which are on the slides
- Outline View : To print the slides outline .
Print Preview :
From File menu and select Print Preview .
Planning for a presentation and applying the
project .
- It is necessary to plan well for the presentation before using
the computer in designing this presentation by :
( Visualize on papers for the contents of the presentation )
1- Gather information about the subject of presentation .
2- Arrange and organize the information.
3- Put a conception for the content of each slide on papers .
4- Prepare the necessary images , video and sound files which
will serve the subject of the presentation .
5- Apply what you had planned on papers by using the
computer .
Hyperlink :
- It means connecting the slides with each others or
connecting the slides with other presentations or files .
Connecting a slide with another :
1- Open Slide Show menu , select Action Button .
2- Select the required button shape from the small window that
will appear and apply it to the selected space on the slide .
3- Select Hyperlink to from the window that will appear.

4- Select the slide to transit to it on mouse click .

Note : We can link this button to another presentation or
file out of this presentation from the option Other
PowerPoint Presentation or Other File .

This program is used in designing the internet pages and
sites and it is characterized with the following :
1- Unique Editor .

3- Dealing with several browsers .
4- Supports many programs and languages and uses them .
5- Creates interactive websites.

Open and Load the program :
1- Start .

Use of Help :
1- Open Help menu .

Web :
- They are the internet services which are used for presenting
information by the use of multimedia ( text images and
video video )
- It helps to connect the pages and sites with each others to
use the information as much as possible .

Create One Page Website :

1- Open File menu .
2- Select New .
3- Select Website .
4- From General select One Page Website.
5- Select a location to save in and click OK.
Code Window : It is the window which contains codes for
designing the page .
Preview in Browser :
1- Open File menu .
2- Point to Preview in Browser .
3- Select Windows Internet Explorer .
Create a website by using Website Templates :
1- From File menu , select New then Website .
2- Select Templates from the window that will appear.
3- Select the desired template by the help of the preview space
Site Name :
1- Open Site menu .
2- Select Site Settings.
3- Type the site name beside Web Name .
Save Site :
Select Save or Save As from File menu .
Page Properties :
1- Page Size :
- From View menu , select Page Size and then the required
page size .
2- Change Page Background :
- From File menu , select Properties and then Formatting .
From Background select the required color .
3- Change the pages direction :
- From File menu , select Properties and then Page Direction

 Text Formatting :
- It is changing the style of the text as the font type , size and
color and the other properties .
We can control the text formatting by the following ways :
1- Formatting Toolbars .
2- Select Font from Format menu .
Insert a picture :
1- Open Insert menu .
2- Select Picture .
3- Select From File .
4- Select the picture and click Insert .
- We can control the properties of the picture from Pictures
Toolbar.
What is meant by Hotspot ?
- It is a shape which is added to the page ( on a picture ) and
when clicking on it while browsing we move to another
location or file .
Hyperlink :
- It is a picture or text in the webpage and when clicking on it
while browsing we move to another location in the same
page or another web in the same website or another website
or play a file .
Insert a Hyperlink : Select Hyperlink from Insert menu .
Save Website : From Edit menu, select Save As or Save .
Delete Website : Right click on the site main folder in folder
list window the select Delete.
Change Website Name : From Site menu , select Site Settings
and type the name in Web Name and click OK .
