VOLTAS PROFILE IN PROCESS REFRIGERATION AND LOW TEMPERATURE SEGMENT

Air Conditioning and Refrigeration is one of our major business interests and we are in the field for
over five decades. We have full-fledged design facility in a number of locations in the country and also at
Thane, near Mumbai.
To enhance our focus on the vertical segment of HVAC & R industry, we have formed exclusive cell with
the specialized set of people as an integral part to cater the Applications Specific needs of Low
Temperature Refrigeration. Since inception, we have targeted the areas like Chemical Process,
Pharmaceuticals, Petrochemicals Hydro carbon, Food Process and the emerging industries like Biotechnology and Neutraceuticals.
We have leveraged our existing skill set and adopted continual
development in our Engineering, Project Management abilities. Now over the years, we have enriched
our experience while working with Consulting Organizations of proven expertise which are renowned for
their contribution in the Industry such as Toyo, Mott MacDonald, Uhde, Eskayem, Pipecon Consultants,
I.I.T. Powai, Chemtex, CSIR and TCE.
We have manufacturing facility at Dadra for fabrication of Heat Exchangers, Auxiliary items and
integration of equipments like Condensing Units for Low Temperature, Brine Chiller Packages. Based on
the clients requirements, we offer a facility to interface these equipments with either Micro-processor
based Control Panel or PLC based System. We have the sourcing arrangements with Many Screw
compressor manufacturers and the technology transfer arrangement from Standard Refrigeration for
Heater Exchangers.
With an urge to demonstrate the knowledge base and ability of Technology adoption we have worked on
critical application assignments of Nutrine Confectionaries(Processing line),Monsanto Seeds(low temp.
and RH),Ciba Specialty Chemicals(PLC based Process) and Deepak Fertilizers(500TR ammonia
dehumidification system.).As a landmark of Ultra Low temperature Applications we have been chosen by
BARC (Mysore) among 16 Global bidders to offer specialized chilling plant with Circulation system (-75
Deg.C. Brine as R-11)
Recently in HydroCarbon segment with API Standards we had commissioned 600TR@Minus 30deg C
with HT Motors of capacity 1200 KW for M/s Reliance industries limited and also recently
commissioned Brine chiller with Propane as Refrigerant with API Standards for Numaligarh
Refinery Limited, 702TR @Minus 10 deg C with HT Motors of Capacity 1350 KW.
We have a large Installation base of Brine Chiller Packages, Refrigeration systems for Process plants and
are fully equipped to Design, Supply, Install, Service and Retrofit requirements.
