Centrifuge Extractor Hand operated,1500gm capacity

It is used for determining bitumen percentage in
Bituminous Paving Mixtures. It is a removable, precision
machined. Aluminium rotor bowl mounted on a vertical
shaft. It has two speeds i.e. slow and fast. The instrument
is provided with brake mechanism and is hand operated.
Centrifuge Extractor Motorized,1500gm capacity
Same as above but the rotor bowl is coupled to a motor.
Suitable operation on 220V, 50Hz, single phase, A.C. supply.
Note : Another motorized model with speed regulator also available.

Ductility Testing Machine, Electrically

Operated as Per I.S.1208, ASTM D 1 1 3
The Ductilit y Testing machine is suitabl e
for testing 3 specimens simultaneously.
The machine consists of a carriage
moving over a lead screw. An electric motor driven reduction gear unit
ensures smooth constant speed and continuous operation. The entire
assembl y is mounted with a copper lined w aterbath completely encased in
metal bound hardwood. It is equipped with an electric pump circulator and
heater. The temperature is controlled thermostaticall y. Two rates of travel
i.e. 5cm/min. and 1cm.min. are provided. Suitable operation on 220V,
50Hz, single Phase, A.C. suppl y. The machine is supplied with 3 Nos. of
Ductilit y mould complete with base plate

PENETRATION
Universal Cone Penetrometer as per I.S.1448(Part
60),IS 1203,ASTM D 937, 217
It is used for testing vide variety of materials such as
Grease, Petroleum, bitumen, Tar, Asphalt, Soil etc. In
this particular test, a chosen force is applied over a
given area for a known period of time and the depth of
the penetration or depression made in the sample is
measured in tenths of a millimeter which is expressed
as a penetration number.
It consists of a accurately machined aluminum base
with in set sprit level. Adjustable feet are provided in
the base for leveling. The unit is supplied with built in
timer to control the duration of penetration which is
preset to 05 seconds. The instrument is provided with
lead screw gear arrangement, leveling screws, sprit
level. It is supplied complete with a plunger weighing
470.5gms for testing bitumen products, two brass
weights of 50 & 100gms each, aluminum containers,
brass penetration cone weighing 102.5 + .05gm, Penetration needle.

Automatic Hammer for Bitumen makes it possible to achieve

high degree of compaction and have the following features: Rugged Construction to withstand hard work.
Fully Automatic and easy to operate.
Uniform Compaction.
Automatic Blow Counter.
The drive mechanism lifts the weight of 4.5Kg. and drops it
from height of 457mm. The rammer foot is removable,
which facilitates preheating. A compaction pedestal with
specimen is fixed to the base. An automatic blow counter
enables the numbers of blows to be preset before each test
and automatically stops the machine on completion.
