Table 2: User Measurement Posture

All the listed data of the user will be used for designing the appropriate wheelchair
furthermore. The anthropometry data of the user are important for the comfort wheelchair
design.

3.2 Wheel chair design according to the conventional type.

Figure 1: Conventional wheel chair.

From the conventional type of the wheel chair, the design feature table and final design table
according to the personal anthropometry data are shown below. All the design and design
feature are important to give the comfortable for the user. Besides that, the design feature
become another important point for the customer who choosing a wheel chair.

Table 4: Wheel Chair Final Measurement

The final design or size of the wheel chair measurement are set according the anthropometry
of the user with related tolerance for comfortable and reliability for daily use. It is important
that the design suitable for the user no matter use the wheel chair indoor or outdoor. Like the
example of the bed height is 0.4 meter to 0.5 meter, so the seat height which we set are 0.50
meter will suit for daily life usage.
3.3 Conclusion.
Wheelchairs should be designed to enable their users to participate in as many activities as
possible. As a minimum, a wheelchair should enable the user to lead a more active life
without having a negative effect on their health or safety. Comfort and safety are two
important factors affecting the quality of life of long-term users
