Application for an Accessed Internship Position in Treasure Frontier
System
I am writing this letter to express my interest to work in your company as an
intern within the period of 30th June 2015 to 18th September 2015. I am
currently a final year student in Bsc. of Cognitive Science at Universiti
Malaysia Sarawak with an emphasis on cognitive neuroscience and brain
science. For the past 5 semester, my CGPA was 3.53 and I believe that I will
achieve a better grade in my final semester.
For your information, Cognitive Science is an interdisciplinary study of
psychology, neuroscience, artificial intelligence and programming subjects. In
this course, we study on internal mechanism of mind, both from soft science
approaches (brain imaging techniques or using psychological instruments) as
well as from hard science approaches (using Matlab, prolog and Python).
Besides that, we also study about human factors and ergonomics a way to
improve human efficiency in using commercial products. Indeed, the tasks
and homework assigned to us has prepared us for the challenges in future
world, these include creating websites with database (using Note++ and
Dreamweaver); creating mobile apps (using Corona or Microsoft beta studio);
creating game application (using Unity with C# language); creating
knowledge based system (using Python and prolog).
Joining choir was a breakthrough in my campus life. I have been a choir
conductor for the past two years in my residential college. I believe that I
have led well in this group and gave my fullest commitment to the team. The
reason for me to apply in your company is because I would like to learn how
to build phone apps. I wish to pursue my research on human factors and
ergonomics and it will be an extra advantage to me if your company is willing
to supervise me in this area. Indeed, I am able to learn new things in a very
short time and is willing to travel around whenever company needs me.
Enclosed is a copy of my resume, which will give you some additional
information on my skills and related studies throughout these three years. I
believe that my skills and academic qualification make me well suited for an
internship in your company and I am confident that I would fit well in any
related department.
