The Department provides technical expertise to support pre-series analysis, series production and
ultimately customer satisfaction in the field. Our mission is to provide competent problem
detection, root cause analysis and direction of counteractions to development-9product),
supplier-and production- (process) groups. The department focus is on continuous improvement
is by using customer-oriented goals and targets to measure our effectiveness. The group focus is
on steering the internal pre-series vehicle evaluation process to ultimately create the direct
ordering confirmation for each new project.

Co-op students will be used to support planning, steering, and reporting on the status of all
preseries projects. Student must apply project management, business and engineering skills to
specific projects under staff engineer mentor, develop reports and presentation of results. The
student will participate in planning and organizing testing events to support project deadlines.
This position is primarily focused on Project Management and scheduling and coordinating test
vehicles through different analysis groups. There is very limited amount of hands on work
required and a high emphasis on communication and organization.

Requirements

Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0


Have full time status at an accredited four year college or university in the United States
Pursuing a BS or Graduate Degree as indicated
Have completed three semesters towards that degree by the start of the work term
Able to complete 3 rotating terms for co-op positions
Have at least 1 remaining term in school after the completion of the co-op or internship
Transfer students must have a GPA from current university
Enrolled with the university co-op or career services office
Complete and pass a pre-placement physical and substance abuse test before the work term
U.S. Citizen or permanent resident
A student participating in a Business Administration/Management or Communications is
required for short-term projects in the Total Vehicle-Integration Group.

1. Candidate must be working toward a BX or MS in management or communications


2. GPA of 3.0/4.0 or better
3. Preferred-academic or work related to automotive
4. Candidate should have good communication skill
5. Candidate must have a valid drivers license
6. Candidate must have advanced skills in Microsoft Office Products
7. Ability to write custom programs for Microsoft Office-Preferred
