Elevator Pitch:
This case mainly talks about the problems managing HR
management of Muffler Magic. With the expansion of the company
the profit margin went down and it was loosing opportunities and
market share due to lack of proper HR system. Later it takes some
strategy and it give us the lesson that Money is not only the mean
of motivation, other benefit and rewarding packages will add value
to total production.

1st recommendation I want to make with respect to HR function is that in Muffler
Magic there were no quota for sick leave, therefore, employees has to come to the
workplace evenwhen they are sick. It reduces the production quality and hindrance
the goodwill.
2nd recommendation I want to make is that there were no ranking systems of the
employees. It made the employees less interested about work and payment system.
Provide the technician with a letter grade from A to E based on that technicians
particular skill level and abilities will motivate the employees morally and increase
the productivity as a whole.
3rd recommendation I want to make is that Muffler Magics manager should calculate
the total labor hour and total hourly paid to technicians. By dividing this two variable
production rate would be revealed and it will help to measure the team production and
also it could apply to reward the team with benefits.

3. Yes, to make the employees comfortable and make them safe it is necessary to
provide this facility. By proving this facility the total production level will boost up
the quality of work will increase that will help to get more production out of a team.

pay plan, it is better for the company to grade each employee for instance:

It is a hierarchy that would be followed by all the employees and it will push them to
work harder to get better incentives and better grade. It will increase the respect
among the subordinates and this example will motivate them to become more active
to fulfill the demand
