Bumpers - Fit

FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION


NOTE:




Put on gloves to protect your hands.


Have an assistant help you when removing and installing the front
bumper.
Take care not to scratch the front bumper and body.

1. Remove the screws (A, B) and clips (C, D) securing the front bumper (E).
NOTE:

To remove the clips C and D, pry the inner pin up at the edge near the line
(F) on its head.

2. Pull on the front bumper (A) at the wheel arch areas to release it from the hooks (B) on the side spacers
(C).

3. With the help of an assistant, pull the wheel arch portion away from the side spacer (A) while pulling the
front bumper to release the bumper from the hooks (B) on the upper beam (C).

4. If equipped, disconnect the front fog light connectors (A), then remove the front bumper (B).

5. Remove the front bumper absorber (A) from the front bumper beam (B).

6. Install the bumper in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
 If equipped, make sure the front fog light connectors are plugged in properly.
 Make sure the front bumper engages the hooks (of both upper beams and side spacers) on each side
securely.
 Check if the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, and if necessary, replace them with new ones.
 Push the clips and hooks into place securely.

FRONT AIR SPOILER REPLACEMENT

SOFT TYPE SPOILER (FOR SOME MODELS)

1. Remove the clips securing the air spoiler (A).


NOTE:

To remove the clips, pry the inner pin up at the edge near the line (B) on its
head.

2. Pull the front air spoiler back to detach the hooks (C) and remove the spoiler.
3. Install the spoiler in the reverse order of removal:
 Check if the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, and if necessary, replace them with new ones.
 Push the clips into place securely.
HARD TYPE SPOILER (FOR SOME MODELS)
1. Remove the front bumper (see FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION).
2. Remove the screws (A) and bolts (B), then remove the front air spoiler (C) from the front bumper (D).
Take care not to scratch the front bumper.

3. Install the spoiler in the reverse order of removal.

LOWER FRONT BUMPER COVER REPLACEMENT


NOTE:




Put on gloves to protect your hands.


Take care not to scratch the front bumper.

1. Remove the clips (A, B) and screws (C) securing the lower front bumper cover (D), and detach the clip
(E) from the front bumper (F), then remove the cover.
NOTE:

To remove the clips A and B, pry the inner pin up at the edge near the line
(G) on its head.

2. Without front air spoiler: If necessary, push out the hooks (A), then remove the lower cover spacers (B)
from the front bumper (C).

3. Install the cover in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
 Check if the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, and if necessary, replace them with new ones.

Push the clips and hooks into place securely.

LOWER FRONT BUMPER GRILLE REPLACEMENT


NOTE:




Put on gloves to protect your hands.


Take care not to scratch the front bumper.

1. Remove the front bumper (see FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION).


2. If equipped with the front fog lights, remove them from both sides of the front bumper (see FOG LIGHT
REPLACEMENT ).
3. Detach the hooks (A, B), then remove the lower front bumper grille (C) from the front bumper (D).

4. If necessary, remove the screws, then remove the air screen plates (A) from the lower front bumper grille
(B).

5. Install the grille in the reverse order of removal, and push the hooks into place securely.

FRONT BUMPER SIDE COVER REPLACEMENT


NOTE:




Put on gloves to protect your hands.


Take care not to scratch the front bumper.

1. Remove the front bumper (see FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION).


2. Detach the hooks (A), then remove the front bumper side cover (B) from the front bumper (C).

3. Install the cover in the reverse order of removal, and push the hooks into place securely.

REAR BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION


NOTE:





Put on gloves to protect your hands.


Have an assistant help you when removing and installing the rear bumper.
Take care not to scratch the rear bumper and body.

1. Remove the clips (A), screws (B), and bolts (C) securing the rear bumper (D).

2. Pull on the rear bumper (A) at the wheel arch areas to release it from the hooks (B) on the side spacers

4. With the help of an assistant, pull the rear bumper to release the bumper (A) from the hooks (B) on the
upper brackets (C).

5. Install the bumper in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
 Make sure the rear bumper engages the hooks (of both the side bracket and side spacers) on each
side securely.
 Check if the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, and if necessary, replace them with new ones.
 Push the clips and hooks into place securely.

REAR BUMPER SPOILER REPLACEMENT


FOR SOME MODELS
NOTE:




Put on gloves to protect your hands.


Take care not to scratch the rear bumper.

1. Remove the rear bumper (see REAR BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION).

2. Remove the screws (A), clips (B), and nuts (C), then remove the rear bumper spoiler (D) from the rear
bumper (E). Take care not to scratch the rear bumper.

3. Install the spoiler in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
 Make sure the rear bumper spoiler clip plates (F) are installed to the spoiler properly.
 Check if the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, and if necessary, replace them with new ones.
 Push the clips into place securely.
