CALIFORNIA POTATOES
6 medium potatoes, boiled & diced
1/3 cup onions
1/4 cup butter or oleo
1-1/2 cups shredded cheese
1 pint dairy sour cream

1 can cream of chicken soup
2 Tbsps. butter
2 cups crushed corn flakes
Heat 1/4 cup butter and add soup, sour cream, onions,
and cheese. Stir mixture into potatoes and place into
casserole. Mix corn flakes and 2 Tbsps. melted butter
and place on top.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

SPANISH RICE WITH BEEF
1 lb. ground beef

1/2 cup diced onions
4 oz. can mushrooms (optional)
1 cup diced celery
2-1/2 cups tomatoes
1 Tbsp. drippings
1/2 cup diced green pepper
3/4 cup uncooked rice
Salt & pepper to taste
Brown meat in lard in frying pan. Add remaining

ingredients. Simmer until rice is tender, about 30
minutes. Very good!

PANCAKE
PIZZA
3 cups pancake batter (or less)
Heat oven to 400 degrees.
Pour batter into 9x13 in.
greased and floured pan.
Bake 15 minutes or until
done. Remove from oven.
1 dozen eggs, scrambled
1 cup shredded cheese
6 cups sausage gravy
1 lb. bacon
While pancake is baking, scramble eggs in large
skillet. Layer eggs and cheese on top of baked
pancake. Make a sausage gravy and put on top of
eggs and cheese.
Fry and crumble the bacon. Sprinkle on top of
the gravy. Serve with or without maple syrup.

Greenville. Everyone from toddlers to senior citizens will find something to interest them at this years Fair.

23 and 24, will be the National Tractor Pullers Association, starting at 7 p.m.

All you need to do is send an interesting color picture (original
photos preferred, or if emailing, use either a jpeg or tiff format) of good
quality, along with some background information. Farm-related photos
are best suited for country living. When taking your pictures, make
sure the lighting is sufficient, and that your subjects are centered in the
viewfinder. Stand back far enough so that heads arent cut off. If need
be, we can crop photos to eliminate any unnecessary background.
Dont forget to include your actual mailing address if you email
your picture and information to us, so your prize can be mailed out to
you.
