The equipment and services furnished shall meet all the requirement of
this specification, data sheets etc., In case of any conflict /
contradiction among various part of the specification, data sheets the
same shall be referred to the engineer for clarification whose decision
shall be final and binding.

Introduction
3.1.1
This section of the report covers the basic requirements of civil works
and Module Mounting Structures (MMS) erection works to be
executed in the Solar PV Power Plant. The CONTRACTOR is
expected to execute the civil works strictly in line with the execution
drawings that will be provided to them during execution.

Before submitting the offer, the BIDDER is advised to inspect the site
and the environment and be well acquainted with the actual working
and other prevalent conditions, facilities available, position of material
and labour. No claim will be entertained later on the ground of lack of
knowledge.

Static Foundations
3.3.1
All the static equipment foundations shall be constructed with cast-insitu reinforced concrete. Foundations for the solar panel supports,
foundations for all the buildings and sheds are included under this
category. All spread footing foundations when used shall be extended
to a depth, as in the drawings.
3.3.2
All short pile foundations that will be used for MMS (Module
Mounting Structure) shall be designed as standalone friction piles.
Short Piles of minimum 1.5M below ground level, cast-in-situ shall be
used for PV module support structures with M25 grade of concrete
and Fe 500 Reinforcement.

Roofing
3.4.2.1
The roof shall be provided in single way slope. Insulated roof when
provided shall have total thickness of roof panel as 50mm. The
thickness of PU foam shall be 49 mm in case of 50 mm design. Roof
loading of 75 kg / Sq. M shall be considered while deciding sheet steel
thickness. Single sheet roof when provided shall have 0.60mm thck

Floor Finishes
The floor shall be finished with ceramic tiles with skirting.

Transformer Foundation
3.5.1

Brick, blast / fire wall (if required) shall be provided to prevent the
spread of fire or explosion from one transformer to another
transformer. The height of the blast / fire wall shall be extended 0.5 m
above highest point of the transformer.

Pathways
3.6.1
Any new pathways proposed within the plant shall be single lane sub
grade compacted to 95% modified proctor density.
3.6.2
The sub grade shall be compacted to the levels, falls, widths and
cambers as per the grade requirements. Sub base of brought out gravel
shall be laid & compacted as shown in the drawings.
3.7
Surface Drainage
3.7.1
All the areas shall be adequately drained. The surface drainage system
shall be designed for surface washings and/or rain/fire water as the
case may be.

Site Clearance

safe and aesthetically good condition.

Property fencing with Gates for entry into the plant will be provided.
No compound wall is envisaged. The fence will have RCC fence posts
and tied with PVC coated steel wires at intervals along the 2.1m height
of the post. PVC coated welded steel chain link fabric will be tied
between the tie wires to serve as fence fabric. Over the top of the RCC
posts, bands of barbed wire runs will be attached.

Double leaved painted steel gates for vehicle entry with single leaved
wicket gate for personnel entry shall be provided. The guard house
will be located near this entry point

a. Drilling for pre-bored cast insitu piles, as in Drg.No.: 1-14091-400-0712, Rev.0, including
mobilisation, set up drilling rig, Drill in all type of soil directed by engineer to stop boring,
