PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
1. Project Name: Discount Application
Role: Project Analyst and Developer
Organization: DCM Shriram Consolidated Ltd.
Duration: 11 months
Description: It is used to raise Credit Note to customers for the liable discount (A customer is
liable in case of Advance payment or w.r.t. total sales quantity).
Methodology: For Discount to be calculated, a Sanction is created specifying type of Discount
(Quantity or Advance), duration of Sanction and the Discount Slab values. Once Sanction is
approved, all respective Sales Offices are informed through mail for the available Sanction, for
sales promotion purpose. Advance and Incoming payment of customers now entered, using
application, against the Sanction approved.
Discount Calculation part consists of Discount Calculation (where the customer discount
details get generated) and Discount Approval (where only the selected discount amounts gets
posted for the Credit Memo Request and finally, Credit Note is raised). Application also contains
a comprehensive list of MIS reports in Smartforms.
2. Project Name: Power Sales Application
Role: Project Analyst and Developer
Organization: DCM Shriram Consolidated Ltd.
Duration: 5 months
Description: Power is being exported from DSCL to different customers including Power
Exchange Grid, TATA Power (TPTCL), etc. The application projects the amount receivable /
payable to each customer.
Methodology: The application reads Total Power produced (reading meter flat files, both
formatted and unformatted) using BDC upload, and based on the power scheduled to be
delivered, including Curtailments and Transmission Losses, it calculates the amount to be
settled with the customers. Reports developed in Smartforms.
3. Project Name: Budget Tracking System(BTS)
Role: Developer
Organization: DCM Shriram Consolidated Ltd.
Duration: 2 months
Description: Budget is allotted per fiscal year to each Purchase Organization. BTS keeps check
on Purchase Requisition and PO creation steps (ME51N/ME52N and ME21N/ME22N).
Methodology: It is implemented using BADIs and User Exit. As the PO of specific Purchase
Organizations is created, the enhancements (BADI and User Exit) do entry in customized ZTables of the BTS, by validating the amount assigned to that Tracker Number for that particular
Purchase Organization. Report showing the available amount allotted and left for Purchase
Organizations is also developed.

4. Project Name: GRN Automation

Role: Developer
Organization: DCM Shriram Consolidated Ltd.
Duration: 3 months
Description: Weigh Bridge Integration with SAP for the GRN creation of raw material by the
use of BAPI.
Methodology: GRN Automation is a two-step process. In the first step, data from WeighBridge database (SQL Server) is extracted, generating a flat file; plus, this flat file is read into
SAP Z-Tables. In next step, the Z-Tables are read and based on selection against the respective
Purchase Orders and, the GRN is posted using BAPI.

Personnel number to a given date from Infotype 0185 i.e. Superannuation, FI BDC for
maintaining the Withholding Tax of Customers, and few custom applications BDCs.
Title: Reports: Reports ranging from PM, QM, MM & HR have been developed. Reports include,
Material Aging Report (MM), Stock Ledger Report (MM), PSS Report (PP-PI), Employee report on
