About the pattern

Work in continuous rounds. Do not join or turn unless otherwise instructed.
It would be wise to use a stitch marker and place it in the first stitch of the round to mark the
beginning of it. Move the marker up to the first stitch of the next round after finishing the previous
one.
If you need to change color, do it always at the end of the previous round. Start the last stitch of the
round with the old color. Change the color right before you draw through all loops on hook to
complete stitch.
You can easily sew the toy together when you leave each piece a long yarn tail.
Stitch explanation
Decrease (sc2tog) - Insert hook into st and draw up a loop. Insert hook into next st and draw up a
loop. Yarn over, draw through all 3 loops on hook.
Comments
In this pattern every detail starts with a magic ring. If you don`t want to use that, you can easily start
like this:
Chain 2. Work 6 sc in first ch.
Continue to round 2.

Now it is time to fasten the safety eyes. Find rows 16 and 17. Insert the first eye between them, then

31: (sc in each of next 3 sts, sc2tog) rep 6 times = 24
Leave a yarn tail about 15 cm long and cut the yarn.
Make eyelids with cotton yarn. Bring the needle out in the outer corner and quite in the middle of the
eye. Lead the yarn back in the inner corner but slightly higher.

Bring the yarn out in the hole of the head and tighten by pulling gently. Repeat the same steps with
another eye.

Cut out a piece of cotton fabric for the muzzle and a piece of felt for the nose. Give the pieces the
desired shape.
Before starting to sew try the pieces onto the bears face by attaching them with some pins. First place
the muzzle, then the nose, so that half of it would cover the muzzle. If the sizes fit, remove the nose
and start sewing on the muzzle.

After that sew on the nose and stitch a mouth.

Before you do, cut a long piece of Color B and stitch the claws. Find a suitable place for the first claw
and pull out the darning needle between the rows where you changed the color. Insert it about four
rows higher and pull tight. Repeat once more. Then find a proper place for the second claw repeat the
same. Continue until you have all four of them done.

Finish him by making a belly button. Cut a piece of Color B. Insert the darning needle from the back of
the teddy and pull it out in the front, somewhere on the fourth stripe of blue (counted from top to
down). Insert the needle in the next gap and bring back on the back side. Tighten. Repeat it once
more. You should end up with a little hollow on his tummy.

And your sweet Tummy Teddy is ready!
