Web Design
Description: This webpage is for Tina Tinas Tangerines. A
business i created for the logo design project. The business is
selling tangerines to children in a friendly way
Process (Programs, Tools, Skills): I used CSS to alter colours
and font type. I used Adobe Illustrator to create the logo. I also
used wordwrap to edit the html file.I used html to put content
into the page and center the logo. i also put the logo in the center
editing the html.
Message: Tina is selling tangerines
Audience: Children, Parents of children.
Top Thing Learned: I hate coding. This was a lot like trying
to mix Legos and Duplo blocks to make a fully functional
microwave. once one thing went wrong everything else did with
it. i learned to appreciate those people who have the patience to
do this on a daily basis. i would go nuts.
Color scheme and color hex(s): Green/Orange/Purple Triadic:
f7931e/39b54a/ffffff/
Title Font Families & Category: Verdana/Sans Serif
Copy Font Families & Category: Times/Serif
Changes made to the CSS: I used CSS to alter colours and font
type. i also used it to create and ordered list for the content to
reside in. i also modified the spacing between messages within
the page.

Brochure
Description: This is a brochure for a tour of historical sites
featured in Abstergos fictional productions. its intended for an
adult crowd as it goes into detail of more mature lifestyle.
Process (Programs, Tools, Skills): I used Photoshop to crop a
photo for the back of my design. i used indesign to organize the
layout and piece together the design. Microsoft Word was used
to type the message. The photo had been slightly colour corrected but everything else was kept mostly the same. i made the logo
in illustrator.
Message: Go in this historical tour.
Audience: Adults
Top Thing Learned: i really struggle to get out of the grid mindset. i couldnt think of a way i could organize my content any
other way then in a grid like box system.
Color scheme and color names: triadic Red, yellow and Blue
Title Font Name & Category: Imprint mt/Decorative
Word Count of copy: 230ish

own pictures and the photo was found here https://www.imagesource.com/

Stationery
Description:I wanted the design to appear professional while
remaining vague about what the business does. i went with a
triadic colour scheme consisting of the primary colours. I chose a
modern font to give it the technological appearance of the companies industry.
Process (Programs, Tools, Skills):i used illustrator to create a logo
Message: The message is Abstergo Industries, contact Brett
Eller
Audience: Anyone who receives one of the business cards or
stationery in the mail.
Color scheme and color names: The colour scheme is triadic with
red yellow and blue
Font: Segoe UI/ModernFont

Business
Card
Description:I wanted the design to appear professional while
remaining vague about what the business does. i went with a
triadic colour scheme consisting of the primary colours. I chose a
modern font to give it the technological appearance of the companies industry.
Process (Programs, Tools, Skills):i used illustrator to create a logo
Message: The message is Abstergo Industries, contact Brett
Eller
Audience: Anyone who receives one of the business cards or
stationery in the mail.
Color scheme and color names: The colour scheme is triadic with
red yellow and blue
Font: Segoe UI/ModernFont

Logo
Description: I wanted my design to be simple in a childish way to
give it fun feeling.
Process (Programs, Tools, Skills): I used illustrator and made layers
of shapes to make the Tangerine design. then i placed the text on
top to pull it all together.
Message: Tiny Tinas Tangerines.
Audience: The audience is kids or parents with young kids who
want them to eat tangerines.
Top Thing Learned: Colour schemes can be tricky. ORange and
green only fall into one colour scheme together and that particular
scheme includes puple. i left it out as purple would clash in a negative
Color Scheme and Color Names: Triadic/Green, Orange, purple(not
found in design)
Title / Body Font Names & Categories: Ravie/Decorative

PhotoDesign
Description: I truly had no idea what to do for this project so i made
a wrapping paper background and used some Photos of a Hello Kitty
Plush that i had lying around. i wanted the message to come across as
Get a kitten or come get a kitten and this is the result. i wanted
this to appear festive so i chose a red and green complementary colour
scheme.
Process (Programs, Tools, Skills, FOCUS principles): I used PhotoShop to crop out the kitten from its original picture. i then edited
the colours with the cropped portion so i could change it without the
distraction of the background. I struggled with making the message
flow with being forced to have the colour scheme labelled within the
design.
Message: Kittens For Christmas
Audience: People who like cute Cats with bows
Top Thing Learned: Photoshop is hard. it gives the user a lot more
freedom which means a structured person like me gets lost very easily
in all the stuff you can do.
Color scheme and color names: Complementary Red & Green
Title Font Name & Category: Myriad Pro Condensed. i believe it is
Modern
u took the photos: My Kitchen, February.

Event Ad
Description: This project frustrated the heck out of me. Not being able
to use indesign really hindered my creativity. Then with the addition
of being required to use a scanned image i was drastically limited in
terms of what i could create. I wanted the design to be crisp and festive.i
wanted the message to be understood by all audiences.
Process (Programs, Tools, Skills, FOCUS principles: I used Microsoft
word and tried to follow my sketch but i had serious issues with the
textboxes. i wanted the apples to draw the reader in along with the fancy
lettering and alliteration. The rest of the design doesnt have much else
going for it.
Message: The message is come pick apples for charity. i used an
alliteration to make the message stick.
Audience: Every Person with a kind heart.
Color scheme and color names: I chose a complimentary color scheme
with red and green.
Top Thing Learned: I learned that i hate word in terms of design. Never
before have i felt so restrained and frustrated. i couldnt get any of my
text boxes to align right.
Title Font Name & Category: Monotype Corsiva
Copy Font Name & Category:Monotype Corsiva
Scanned images used, sources, original sizes, location of scanner used:
I used an apple photograph from a walmart flier. we scanned it with the
sporri scanner.

Flier
Description: I wanted to make a simple and professional design. i got
the impression that this flier was meant for the serious, career driven
students. i wanted it to follow a simple, linear flow without any deviance from the basic color scheme.
Process (Programs, Tools, Skills, FOCUS principles): i started the
process by Formulating a plan. i sketched 4 different layouts of how i
could complete this. i ended up doing a mixture of all 4 designs.
Message: I wanted the message to be primarily the company and what
they offer. I put the logo front and center to ensure this.
Audience: I wanted the message to reach a business minded, no nonsense group of people. I kept the design simple and professional to
attract and maintain their attention.
Top Thing Learned: I learned how important color value is. being limited to a greyscale color scheme really encouraged me to pay attention
to the color values and how i could use the same color for several uses.
Title Font Name & Category: I used Minion Pro which i believe is in
the old style category.
Copy Font Name & Category: I stayed with the Pro Throughout the
entire flier to keep it simple and professional.

Montage
Description: I wanted to make a montage that would look like
something produced by the church. i asked my roommates for
inspiration and he gave me this verse of the hymn Hie To Kolob
i chose a photo with a path so that i could have the path lead to the
text.
Process (Programs, Tools, Skills, Steps taken while designing): I had to
do a lot of work to the foreground photo since it was taken on a what i
imagine was a very bright day and that created way too much contrast
with the galaxy photo which is supposed to be like a night sky. i used
Photoshop to do everything. i applied a dark filter to the grass and did
more colour changes to make it look more nightlike. the entire image
is over a black square and towards the end i faded it all slightly to
make it darker.
Message: The Message is the verse from the song
Audience: This intended for church members to share on social media
and whatnot.
Top Thing Learned: The top thing i learned is how much fun this type
of editing is. i had a lot of fun with this project.
Filter / Colorization used and where it was applied: The filter and
colour edits were applied to the grassy foreground. slight lighting
adjustments were made to the galaxy photo but not much.
