Learning outcomes: At the end of this lesson, pupils in their respective levels should be
able to:
i) list at least 10 appropriate adjectives to describe things effectively
ii) describe the characteristics of things and objects using correct adjectives
iii) build at least 5 sentences with correct grammatical structure and semantic
Educational Emphases (EMK/CCE/EE): Thinking Skills, Mastery Learning, Values and
Citizenship, Multiple Intelligences, and Knowledge Acquisition.
Previous Knowledge: Pupils have experience on birthday party.
Moral values: Pupils will be able to know more about social events and appreciating other

Teaching Materials: Video on Birthday Party, 5 gift boxes containing --- chillies, pencil,
rock, flower, and leaves, marker pens.
