Have decided to sell my LHD 406 Coupe 2.

9 V6 Auto, which I have owned for more t

han 3 years, but decided to upgrade.
It is in a very good condition, well minded, serviced by myself, not saving on s
pares, which were original parts were sensible and possible.
It's not a sports car, but a fantastic cruiser designed by Pininfarina himself,
a French car, but manufactured in Italy.

Features:
Fully standard car;
It's an older simpler 194hp/260Nm/24 valve/V6/ES9J4 PSA engine, which has less t
o break and is more reliable than the newer 210hp VVT ES9J4S (which has 4 cats a
nd 4 O2's).
4 pot front Brembo brakes;
16 inch original 6 spoke alloys aka "starfish";
8 speaker JBL system with original 8 channel amp and head unit (has ipod connect
or with charging);
Trip computer;
4 normal adult seats and large boot (rear seats fold);
Automatic aircon;
Electric mirrors, windows;
Central locking with deadlock;
Heated seats;
Seat and mirror memory for 2 drivers;
Tan leather in good condition;
Variable assistance steering;
4 speed automatic ZF gearbox, with possibility to limit gears in 1st, 2nd, 3rd.

Good things:
It has 168K genuine miles, of which 90K are driven by me mostly on highways, eng
ine has plenty of resource left, doesn't consume a drop of oil.
Consumption is around 6-9L/100 on highway and 15L in city, depending on style.
Spark plugs (Bosch) and genuine new coil pack (Sagem) replaced at 166K.
Genuine fuel pressure regulator replaced at 140K.
Have a spare fuel rail including all 6 injectors from low mileage car.
All engine sensors are changed to genuine ones (MAP, CTS, O2, IAT, CPS, TPS, Spe
edo) during 3 years of ownership.
Catalyst salvaged from a newer car recently.
Genuine new middle silencer replaced at 145K.
Timing belt (Continental Belt) with water pump and rollers/tensioner (SKF) repla
ced at 160K.
Auxiliary belt replaced at 160K.
Air filter recently replaced.
Some gearbox and engine mounts replaced at 130K.
Shock mounts (Febi) and bearings (SKF) replaced 300 miles ago.
Has Koni yellow shocks in the rear, fitted at 100K.
Stabilizer bar bushings and links replaced at 142K (rear and front).
ZF steering rack is salvaged from a low mileage Coupe.
Steering fluid (Castrol ATF Dextron III) and filter replaced at 150K.
Fuel filter replaced a year ago (not sure what the mileage was).
Premium oils used with genuine filters, every 8K (last change at 165K Mobil1 0W-
40).
ZF automatic gearbox is in pristine condition, fully serviced at 147K (genuine Z
F gaskets, filter, Esso ATF, 5 friction packs).
Genuine Brembo brake disks and pads all round replaced at 147K.
4 summer tyres Vredestein Cento 225/55/16 replaced at 159K (extremely comfy, but
not so good on snow).
Bad things:
Driver's seat and steering wheel show some insignificant wear.
Car was bumped slightly before me, there is no damage anywhere, but it had OS wi
ng replaced.
I had replaced on the other side as well, as scratched it on a very low bollard,
not seen from a driver's seat.
Aircon compressor needs new clutch (around EUR 150 for a salvaged one).
Heated seats not working (never bothered fixing, no need).
Front bumper has few scratches.
NCT expires in April, but is booked for July because of backlog, should pass no
problem!
Has road tax for few months left.

Quite sure I've missed few bits, but knowing this car inside out, can answer any
questions on demand.
Can offer information assistance afterwards.
Technically nothing needs to be done on it, just take and enjoy driving.
