On 3rd January 2010 ‘World Responsible Youth Day’, I -initiate and
Rotary Club of Mulund Hill View, District 3140 are organizing a
mass 10km cycle rally from Mulund Johnson and Johnson to Airoli
Circle and back starting at morning 9am onwards.
The objectives of the rally are:
• To spread the awareness on various consequences of ever in-
creasing ‘Global Warming’
• To encourage ‘Do-able’ things to counter Global Warming
• To establish permanent forums and models promising to reduce
the carbon emissions in Mulund and make the suburb a much
cleaner and greener place to live
• To encourage cycling in routine travel of individuals commuting
short distances
• To promote various eco-friendly alternatives in routine life
The purpose of keeping such objectives is to orient the commu-
nity at large that cycle rallies can be organized to promote and
come out with some tangible results to curb the ever increasing
global warming. With the estimated reach of about 500 enthusias-
tic cyclists the ‘Climatathalon 2010’ is sure to make a mark as a
unique event with loads of promises for a greener future for all of
us! The event will be followed by felicitation of some die-hard bi-
cycle friendly initiatives through local M.P.
We invite you to be a part of this exciting event and help us raise
resources to successfully organize an ambitious events in future.

Bhaskar Ajgaonkar, who has developed a bicycle that when pedaled produces elec-
tricity and charges mobile phones of any brand! His innovative experience coupled
with future plans merge very well with Cycle Chalao, making him coordinate the de-
signs of bicycles and value additions to the project.
