Terms and Conditions

TLX Travel Limited, in cooperation with Eastern Vision Global (HK) Limited, will serve as your
programme operator to the Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea (the DPRK). The following
conditions set out your obligations as a participant when joining our programme. The terms we,
us and our refer to TLX Travel Limited, while participant(s) refers to you. You should read
in details and understand the Terms and Conditions before proceeding to payment. Once paid, it
is assumed that you accepted all the terms and conditions set out below.
A. VISA
1. We do not guarantee that your VISA to the DPRK must be approved. According to our past
experience, however, unsuccessful cases of VISA applications are very rare.
2. We will only know a day before entering the DPRK if the VISA application is unsuccessful. If
for any reason your VISA application is rejected, we cannot be held liable for the travel and hardship
expenses incurred in getting to Beijing OR Dandong, China. You will nonetheless receive a full
refund of the programme fee paid to TLX Travel Limited should this happen.
3. In the event that you mislead us in an attempt to enter the DPRK, no refund will be given.
B. Damages
1. TLX Travel Limited and Eastern Vision Global (HK) Limited expressly disclaims any and all
liability for your damages for emotional distress, mental suffering, or psychological injury of any
kind, under any circumstances.
2. TLX Travel Limited and Eastern Vision Global (HK) Limited have no responsibility in whole or
part and you agree to hold us harmless for any and all liability or claims for any mishap to yourself
or your property and in particular any consequence or effects of flight/train cancellation/delay,
robbery, accidents, sickness, personal injury, political unrest or other such happenings.
C. Insurance
1. You are advised to insure yourself against any possible risk that may occur and in particular to
ensure that sufficient insurance has been obtained in respect of any dependent relatives. It is your
responsibility to be covered by insurance which must include adequate cover for baggage, medical
expenses and the cost of repatriation should you become too ill to continue. Any claims must be
directed to your insurers. Insurance proof is needed before proceeding to our programmes, we may
reject your participation to the trip to the DPRK without any refund if such proof is not provided.

2. If you have a medical condition which may affect your health or safety in the DPRK, you must
inform us before VISA application.
D. Local Laws
1. You are required to follow local laws and regulations at all times. In the result of a breach of
local law, TLX Travel Limited and Eastern Vision Global (HK) Limited will not be held in any way
responsible and you will take responsibility for any consequences, financial or otherwise, that arise
from your actions.
2. You are required to follow the guidance and rules of guides and our staff in the programme at all
times. TLX Travel Limited and Eastern Vision Global (HK) Limited reserve the right to expel
without refund, those participants who refuse to abide by company policies.
3. You should keep the TLX Travel Limited and Eastern Vision Global (HK) Limited indemnified
against all damages, actions, suits, claims, demands, losses and expenses which we may suffer or
sustain as a result of your breach of this undertaking.
E. Transit VISA to and from China
1. You are required to be responsible for your application of transit/travel VISA (of double-entry) or
any necessary travel documents to enter China. In the event that you are denied entry to China due
to inadequate or invalid documents, no refund will be given.
F. Travel Exceptions
1. By joining our programme to travel to the DPRK, you hereby confirm that you are not:
a) a citizen of the Republic of Korea (aka South Korea);
b) a professional journalist or photographer; or
c) intending to publish or upload to social media any video or photographic material recorded
during your trip.
2. 1(c) applies to those intending to make documentary-style productions concerning the trip to the
DPRK. If you are unsure whether or not you fall into this category please inform us of your
intentions and we will advise based on your specific situation.
3. TLX Travel Limited and Eastern Vision Global (HK) Limited are subject to the laws of DPRK.
Any infringement on the aforementioned conditions will result in serious consequences for us, for
the infringer, for the rest of the group and for our Korean tour guides. In the event that you fall

under one of these categories and this fact is realized by the DPRK authorities while you are visiting
the DPRK, you understand that we will be unable to offer any assistance.
4. You understand and agree that with respect to the VISA application process, intentional
withholding of personal information will result in forfeiture of your payment to TLX Travel Limited
if VISA is denied as a result of you falling under any of the aforementioned categories.
5. You should keep the TLX Travel Limited and Eastern Vision Global (HK) Limited indemnified
against all damages, actions, suits, claims, demands, losses and expenses which we may suffer or
sustain as a result of your breach of this undertaking.
G. Itinerary
1. Due to the nature of travel/tourism in the DPRK, we reserve the right to make changes to the
itinerary in response to decisions of our staff and guides in the DPRK or other unforeseeable
circumstances. In the circumstances, we will always give our best endeavor to find suitable
alternatives.
2. Choices of transportation to and from the DPRK, be it either via train or flight, are subject to the
availability of tickets. We reserve the right to change the mode of transportation depending on
availability.
H. Non-liability for Changes
1. We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time and we will notify you if
such changes are made.
I. Refund Policy
1. If you withdraw from the programme 14 days prior to first day of the, you are entitled to receive
refund of your payment to TLX Travel Limited minus the cost already incurred, that is HKD 3,000.
2. If for any reason you withdraw from the programme less than 14 days prior to the first day of the
programme, no refund shall be given nor will any credit be given towards future travel.
3. If for any reason you do not complete any portion(s) of our programme or abandons our scheduled
tour after departure, no refund shall be given nor will any credit be given towards future travel.
