This Bulletin presents an overview of the academic activities relating to the various
Undergraduate Courses of the Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology,
Bhubaneswar.
The Authorities reserve the right to change the requirement for such admission and
amend or alter the structure and contents as well as other policies be deemed necessary
in the interest of the students, the institution and the profession.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Please go through the prospectus carefully. The applicant has to submit application online
using www.onlinesbi.com website. Basing on the information provided by the applicant, the
university will generate application Form-A-cum-Admit Card which the applicant has to download
and submit to the invigilator of the concerned Examination centres while appearing at the Entrance
Examination .
After appearing at the Entrance Examination, the candidates should have to submit
Form-B off line(by post) duly filled in, on or before the last date as furnished below along with
required self attested documents and testimonials. The university is not responsible for any postal
delay in receiving B Forms and B form received after due date shall not be entertained in
any way.

2.1.1
Students admitted into B.Sc. (Ag.)/B.Sc. (Hort.) / B.Sc. (Forestry) /B.Sc. (Home Science)
without having Mathematics or Biology at the +2 level will have to make up their deficiency
by taking pre-requisite courses in the subject (Mathematics / Biology) to be offered during
the first two semesters.

Those who have passed H.S.C. / Equivalent Examination with Odia as M.I.L.
ii)
Those who do not have Odia as M .I. L. , but whose parents are permanent residents
of Odisha must furnish evidence of such permanent residency in the form of a
certificate from the Revenue Officer concerned not below the rank of Tahasildar /
District Magistrate / their employer concerned ( as per clause 2.2(iii) ).
iii)
Those who do not have Odia as M.I.L but whose parents are not permanent residents
of Odisha, but serving under the Govt. of Odisha/Central Govt. /Public Undertaking
or any University in the State of Odisha. The candidate must furnish a certificate to
this effect from the Head of the Office /Institution where his/her parent(s) is/are
working.

The above provisions, i.e. 2.2 (i) to 2.2 (iv), are not applicable to ICAR/VCI nominees/
Foreign Candidates/State Govt. sponsored candidates/children of employees of

The seats reserved for SC & ST candidates separately are not interchangeable.
3.2
The SC, ST (Certificate from the Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tahasildar), Green
Card Holders and Physically handicapped candidates with certificate from Medical Board
depicting a minimum of 40% permanent disability / temporary disability certificate issued
within maximum of two year prior to last date of Admission will be allowed to compete in
reserved category based on their merit as per their choice.
3.3
The reserved seats for SC & ST candidates, Green Card Holders, Physically Handicapped
candidates, ICAR/VCI nominees falling vacant after the due dates, shall be de--reserved
and filled up by unreserved candidates on the basis of merit.
3.4
For admission into B.Sc. (Hort.) nine (09) seats under general seats and six (06) seats
under cost sharing seats shall be reserved for candidates of Western Odisha. Candidates
claiming for such reservation shall submit the permanent residential certificate issued by a
Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tahasildar of his/her native area. In case of
non-availability of suitable candidates, the seats will be de-reserved.
3.4.1 In the event of non production of all original required documents at the time of his /her term
of admission / counseling, he / she will not be allowed to take admission .
3.5
Over and above the intake capacity and subject to fulfilling the minimum eligibility
under Clause 2.1
3.5.1 15% of the seats be made available for Foreign Candidates, being sponsored by Government
of India provided the candidates meet minimum eligibility criteria, possess valid documents
and agree to pay requisite fees at par with NRI Candidates.
3.5.2 One seat will be made available for the Children of the Kashmir Migrants in each College.
The candidate has to produce the domicile certificate from the District Magistrate, Govt. of
J&K, in the Kashmir Division within whose jurisdiction his/her parents had ordinarily resided
during 1st January, 1980 and 31st December, 1989 by five years. Selection of the candidates
for admission shall be based on the merit (Weighted Score).
3.5.3 Ten (10) seats (Clause-3) in Agriculture/ Horticulture and Fishery shall be made available
for State Government of Odisha Sponsored VAW/LVAW/Gardener/Fishery subject to
fulfilling the minimum qualification of +2 Science, out of which 2 seats in each Colleges
i.e. College of Agriculture, Bhubaneswar, College of Agriculture, Chiplima, College of
Agriculture, Bhawanipatna, College of Horticulture, Chiplima and College of Fisheries,
Rangeilunda, Berhampur are available for admission. The names on seniority basis
alongwith the place of study of the sponsored candidates be submitted by the concerned
Government Department which should reach the Registrar, OUAT before the last date of
admission.
3.5.4 Two percent (2%) of total seats in each college(subject to minimum of one) will be reserved
for son and daughter of OUAT employees (both working and retired) over and above the
intake capacity on cost sharing basis.
3.5.5 Twenty five (25) seats are reserved for NRI Candidate for admission into U.G. Courses as
over and above the intake capacity on cost sharing basis in different faculties such as
College of Agriculture, Bhubaneswar (10 seats), College of Vety.Sci. & A.H., Bhubaneswar
(05 seats), College of Agril.Engg. & Tech., Bhubaneswar (05 seats), College of Fisheries,
Rangeilunda (05 seats).
3.5.6 (FOR AGRO-POLYTECHNIC PASS OUT STUDENTS OF OUAT)
For pass out students of Diploma in Agro-Polytechnic Course of OUAT, 10% of the intake
capacity of respective streams of Diploma in Agro-Polytechnic Course are kept reserved in
different UG Courses, over and above the intake capacity of these discipline on cost sharing
basis.
Seat breakup for different courses i.e. Agril./Hort./Fishery and Veterinary science & A.H.
are 12 Nos. of seats in B.Sc.(Ag.) out of which 6 Nos. of seats each in the College of
Agriculture, Chiplima and Bhawanipatna,4 Nos. of seats for B.Sc.( Hort.) at College of
Horticulture Chiplima, 2 Nos. of seats for B.F.Sc.at College of Fisheries, Rangeilunda and
2 Nos. of seats for B.V.Sc. & A.H. at College of Veterinary Sc. & A.H., Bhubaneswar.
The selection of candidates for Admission into UG Courses as above, will be as per the
merit list, which is to be prepared by computing their weigtage taking into consideration the
marks secured in all three examinations i.e. 10th, +2 Science and Diploma in Agro-polytechnic
and marks secured in the Entrance Examination as per the ratio given below

A separate Entrance Test will be conducted for Agro-Polytechnic students carrying 200
marks in objective(multiple choice) type questions in English medium of two hours duration
from their respective Agro-Polytechnic stream.
How to apply
A candidate should access OUAT Website www.ouat.ac.in and download the Application
Form exclusively meant for Agro-Polytechnic Students, from OUAT UG Prospectus 2016-17
APPLICATION FORM FOR ADMISSION INTO UNDERGRADUATE COURSES 2016-17
FOR OUAT AGRO-POLYTECHNIC PASS OUT STUDENTS . He /She has to take a print
out of Application Form .The downloaded Application Form dully fill in, along with self
attested photocopies of all the certificates and testimonials including mark sheets and
Certificate of Diploma in Agro-Polytechnic ( as per Clause-6.2 of the Prospectus ) and the
application fee Rs.1000/- (Rupees one thousand) only in shape of Bank Draft / Bankers
Cheque in favour of Comptroller, OUAT, Bhubaneswar payable at SBI OUAT Campus
Branch, Bhubaneswar, is to be sent by the Registered Post/Speed Post/Courier Service
to the Director, Agro-Polytechnic, OUAT, Bhubaneswar-751003 so as to reach by
due date and time i.e.11.03.2016 to 20.04.2016 (5 p.m.). The top of the envelop should
be superscribed Application Form for OUAT UG Entrance Examination 2016-17 by
Diploma in Agro-polytechnic Students.
The Application Form received without application fee, enclosures or after due date will be
summarily to be rejected and the candidate will be debarred for appearing at the Entrance
Examination. The University will not be liable for refunding the application fees deposited
by the candidate in what so manner other than the prescribed one or after the last date of
receipt or due to any postal delay.
The Entrance Examination for them will be held on 29.05.2016 at 10.30 am to 12.30 pm
in Examination Hall of College of Agriculture, OUAT, Bhubaneswar. The Admit card
will be issued to the eligible candidates by speed post. The result of the Entrance
Examination will be displayed in OUAT website www.ouat.ac.in. The merit list will be prepared
based on weighted score for Admission into different UG Courses of respective streams.
Candidates selected for counseling will be intimated by Registered Post/ Speed post as
per their rank to attend the counseling for admission into UG courses.
Other procedures, rules & regulations and fee structure shall be made applicable to them
as per provisions of the UG Prospectus 2016-17 which may be referred to.
Any further information in this regard will be made available in OUAT website from time to time.
3.6
Candidates seeking admission under NRI Quota must fulfill the conditions under Clause-2.2
shall be required to produce the photo copies of VISA/proof of permanent residential
certificate and PASS PORT of themselves or of the sponsoring persons (Parents/nearest
relatives) which are valid till the last date of admission. The above photo copies should be
submitted to the Registrar, OUAT, Bhubaneswar along with a sponsorship certificate in the
prescribed format (Annexure -III) from the sponsoring person and should be submitted
alongwith Form B. The signature of the NRI sponsor must be same as in the passport
and sponsoring certificate. Photo copy of VISA & PASSPORT should be submitted along
with in its English version issued by competent authority form respective embassy/ consulate.
The candidate should produce recent proof of Residentship of the NRI Sponsor such as
Electric bill/ Telephone bill / Water bill etc. of the respective country where he/she is residing
at present within last six month. A Non resident Indian (NRI) can Sponsor only one candidate
in an academic year.
4.
SELECTION PROCESS
There will be a COMMON ENTRANCE EXAMINATION for selection of the candidates for
admission into B.Sc.(Ag), B.Sc. (Forestry), B. Sc. (Horticulture), B.F.Sc., B.V.Sc. & A.H.,
B. Tech. (Agril. Engg.) and B.Sc.(Home Science) courses. The candidates for admission
will be selected solely on the basis of Merit (Weighted Score) which is based on his/her
performance of academic career, Entrance Examination and Extra curricular activities. If
two or more candidates secure the same computed score, the tie shall be resolved and
their merit positions will be decided on the basis of higher marks in the Entrance Examination
or +2 Science or HSC/equivalent in that order
The candidates seeking admission into B.Sc. (Forestry) Course should qualify
Physical Endurance Test to be conducted one day before their respective day of the
counseling of each category, failing which their candidature for the admission into
B.Sc.(Forestry) course will not be considered. To appear at Physical Endurance Test, the
candidate should come with a certificate of Physical Fitness as issued by the medical
officer not below the rank of CDMO within the period of 30 days with respect to physical
capacity to undergo an endurance test of brisk walking of 25 km for male and 14 km for
female within four hours and the candidates should posses the minimum physical standard
as follows.

4.1
Entrance Test
The Entrance Examination will be of objective (multiple choice) test for 200 marks of two
hours duration and the medium of Examination will be English. The subjects of
examination and marks distribution are indicated below.

The H.S.C. marks without extra optional and +2 Science mark in Physics, Chemistry and
Mathematics/ Biology (whichever is higher) will be taken in to account.
4.2.2

Candidates with outstanding records in extra curricular activities as detailed below will be
given extra weightage over the score computed from career marks and marks secured in
the Entrance Examination. The following percentage of marks under different extra curricular
activities of the students will be added to the computed score of the Academic Career and
Entrance Examination to arrive at the final score.

The students participating in games and sports event duly recognized and notified by
the Director of Sports for such purpose shall be eligible for the consideration to get the
weightage.
b.
The students will submit a separate certificate on the participation in the games/sports,
issued by the Director of Sports & Youth Services for taking the advantage of weightage
in marks for admission.
c.
The students will submit a certificate issued by the School Games Federation of India
which has to be countersigned by the Director, secondary Education for taking the
advantage of weightage.
d.
A student desirous of availing such concessions either in Games and Sports or in other
extra curricular activities must have achieved the distinction at the +2 level and certificate
issued within two years before the last date of submission of application form.
4.5
The students except B.V.Sc. & A.H Course of this University who were detained in the 1st
Semester of 1st year of any Undergraduate Courses due to shortage of attendance even
after appearing the mid-term examination, shall have to apply afresh and compete with
others for admission.
4.5.1 Any student of B.V.Sc. & A.H. who are found detained before 1st Annual composite
examination due to shortage of attendance shall have to appear afresh and compete with
others for admission.

Candidates awaiting for their results of +2 Science examination are also eligible to apply
for appearing at the Common Entrance Examination for admission into the U.G. Courses,
anticipating their success in the +2 Science Examination.
5.3
A candidate is required to apply once irrespective of number of U.G. Courses (as mentioned
under Sub-Clause 2.1) for which he/she wishes to be considered for admission.
5.4
The data obtained from the candidate while applying online using www.onlinesbi.com will
be used for the purpose of generating Admit Card for Entrance Examination. Hence the
applicants are advised to submit data accurately as required while applying online. While

applying online, the candidate has to pay Rs. 1000.00 to the University besides bank
charges as specified by the Bank depending upon the mode of payment selected. However,
after 16.04.2016 to pay application fee select SBI Branch option from State Bank Collect
while paying to generate PAP form and visit any SBI Branch to deposit Cash/SBI cheque
only. Others payment modes viz. Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking options will not be
available during 17.04.2016 to 20.04.2016. Candidates are advised to apply online and
pay the application fee before the due date.
Hard copy of application in any form should not be sent to OUAT except Form-B.
The University will not accept any physical application supported by Bank Drafts etc. for the
Entrance Examination purpose. The University will not be liable for refund of application
fees deposited by the candidate in what so manner other than the prescribed one, or after
the last date specified for online application.
6.
SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION
6.1
NB : The candidate need not put his/her signature anywhere on the Application
Form A-cum-Admit Card. He/she shall put his signature at appropriate place(s) before
the Invigilator only.

In case of NRI Candidates, all the documents as per clause 3.6 (Annexure-III).

future use at the time of admission.
6.2.1 The invisible photocopy of all documents if received will not be taken into consideration.
N.B.: a. Under no circumstances the documents submitted by the candidate with Form-B
shall be returned.
b. The mark sheet of 10th and +2 Science are mandatory for calculation of weightage
and preparation of merit list.
6.3
6.3.1 The candidates must send application Form B duly filled in all respect sufficiently
ahead of the closing date to ensure receipt by the due dates (See Sub Clause - 6.2)
6.3.2 They must submit Form-B only after appearing at the Entrance Examination.

6.3.3 They must write the Entrance Examination Roll Number at the appropriate place in the
form-B.
6.3.4 Incomplete Form-B applications in any respect is liable to be rejected.

ENTRANCE EXAMINATION :

Entrance Examination will be held at the places indicated in Clause-20 of this prospectus.
7.2
7.3
7.3.1 No Candidate will be allowed to enter the Entrance Examination Hall after 15 minutes of
the commencement of the Examination.
7.3.2 The candidate will be required to stay in the Entrance Examination Hall till the Examination
is over.
7.3.3 They must bring with them a BLACK/BLUE BALL POINT PEN for marking the answer
sheet (OMR Sheet).
7.3.4 No marks will be awarded for more than one response / answer for single question.
7.3.5 Candidates are not allowed to bring mobile phone, calculator and other electronic gadgets
to the Examination Hall.
7.3.6 Disfiguring of Answer paper in any manner or putting any sign/ identifying mark etc. will
make the answer paper liable to rejection.
7.3.7 Adopting unfair means or indulging in any objectionable conduct in the Entrance
Examination Hall will make the candidate liable to be debarred from the Entrance
Examination.
7.3.8 The candidates are to obey instructions of the Centre Superintendent and University
authorized officials at the Examination Centre.
7.4
The Result of the Entrance Examination shall be available in the Website www.ouat.ac.in
before issue of Intimation letter.
8.
ADMISSION
8.1
A merit list of the candidates category wise will be prepared basing on the weighted score
(as under Clause 4) for all the U.G. Courses listed under the Sub Clause - 2.1 and will be
uploaded on OUAT website. Admission will be made through Counseling to different U.G.
Courses / Colleges (Clause -3) strictly according to the merit subject to eligibility.

8.2
The intimation letter specifying the date and time of the counseling of the concerned
selected candidates for appearing at counseling will be available in Website
(www.ouat.ac.in) which may be downloaded by the candidates.
8.3
8.4
Once a candidate exercises his/her option before the Admission Board for a particular
Course and is allowed admission into that Course, no changeover to another Course/centre
shall be allowed thereafter under any circumstances.
8.5
Eligible candidates interested for admission will have to appear before the Admission Board
on the date and time as indicated in the intimation letter and produce the Original Certificates
and Mark sheets as required under Sub Clause-6.2 and Sub Clause-8.7 for verification.
Candidates who fail to produce the original certificates and mark sheets before the Admission
Board will forfeit their claim for admission. No time shall be allowed for production of the
original certificates and mark sheets that determine eligibility and merit. A candidate will
have the option to choose any of the Courses listed under Sub Clause-2.1 for admission
subject to his/her eligibility and availability of seats in that course.
8.6
The candidates, who failed to appear before the Admission Board on the scheduled date
and time will automatically and irrevocably forfeit their claim for admission.
8.6.1 Seats remaining vacant if any, after the usual counseling will be filled up from common
merit list.
8.7
Candidates selected for admission are required to produce the following documents at the
time of admission.

Original mark sheets and certificate of H.S.C/ S.S.C./Equivalent from the Board of
Secondary Education/CBSE/ICSC as the case may be.

C.L.C. and Conduct Certificate from the Head of the Institution last attended.

Original Migration Certificate for candidates, who have passed +2 Science from the
University / Board other than OUAT.

8.7.1 All the admitted candidates need to submit an affidavit as per the UGC guideline on declaring
of non indulging in ragging activities to their respective Dean/Directors/Associate Dean
within 15 days from the date of admission.
N.B.: Mark sheet issued by the School and College shall not be accepted.

8.8
Candidates selected for admission failed to submit their College Leaving Certificate / Conduct
Certificate may be provisionally allowed to take admission on submission of an undertaking
to submit the said documents within fifteen days following the date of admission, failing
which their provisional admission will be forfeited. The candidates belonging to the University
/ Institutions of outside State will be allowed one month following the date of admission on
the same condition.
8.9
Candidates provisionally admitted into any of the U.G. Courses without submission of
Migration Certificate will have to submit the Migration Certificate within 1st Semester of
1st year, failing which they will not be allowed to appear at the 1st Semester examination.
8.10 The Sponsored Candidates of the State Government shall submit his / her relieve order
within a fortnight of admission at the latest, failing which his / her provisional admission
shall be treated as cancelled.
8.11 All the candidates admitted into any Under-Graduate Course shall submit a Medical Fitness
Certificate in the prescribed format (Annexure-IV) from a Govt. Medical Officer / Regd.
medical practitioner not below the rank of Asst. Surgeon at the time of admission.
8.12 The original documents like CLC, Conduct Certificate and Migration Certificate submitted
by the candidates will not be returned to them in any circumstances .
8.13
If a candidate belongs to more than one category, he/she can attend the counseling centre
until he/she gets admission. A candidate can exercise his/ her option only once. His/her
name will be deleted from the merit list, once he/she takes admission to any particular
course, he/she will not be considered for admission subsequently.
8.14 If a candidate for admission is found to have indulged in ragging and expelled in the past or
if it is noticed later that he / she is indulging in ragging, the admission will be cancelled or
he/she will be expelled from the University / College.
9.
ACADEMIC SYSTEM
9.1
9.2
9.2.1 The instruction shall be offered in English under Course Credit System. For Course
Programme of each Degree, syllabus has been formulated for different courses carrying a
certain number of credit hours and spread over the number of semesters prescribed for
that course. An Academic year will have two semesters each having minimum 95 Net
Instruction Days(NID).
9.2.2 For Course Programme in B.V.Sc. & A.H., examinations for each course unit shall be
conducted internally for 50 marks at the end of each semester and for the rest 50 marks
externally at the end of each year.
9.2.3 For other Course Programmes, a Mid -Term Examination shall be conducted at the middle

9.2.4 The details of the method of Examination & Evaluation of students performance shall be
explained to the students at the time of ORIENTATION PROGRAMME. The Course
Programme shall be regulated as per U.G. Semester Regulations.

9.3.
Attendance
A student is required to have a minimum of 85% of attendance in each course, failing which
he/she shall not be allowed to appear at the Final Examination and will be detained in that
semester, subject to Regulation for condonation as indicated below.
The Dean/Assoc. Dean/Director, on the recommendation of the Instructor / Advisor
concerned may condone shortage of attendance up to 15% in a course(s) in exceptional
circumstances and allow such students to appear at the Final Examination on payment of
the required fees. No condonation, even on medical ground, can be granted for shortage
of attendance below 70% under any circumstances.

10.2
After Admission into any College each student shall be required to apply to the Dean,
Students Welfare (DSW) through respective Deans/Directors for accommodation into the
hostels located at Bhubaneswar. However the students belonging to the College of
Agriculture,Chiplima, College of Horticulture, Chiplima, College of Agriculture,
Bhawanipatna and College of Fisheries, Rangeilunda shall apply to the Associate Dean
concerned and Director, College of Fisheries for their accommodation in hostel. However,
if the parents / guardian are staying at above mentioned places, the students may apply to
Dean, Students Welfare for permission to stay outside the hostel.
10.3
The University runs a Health Center and Physiotherapy Unit with Ambulance facility at
Bhubaneswar campus managed by qualified and experienced Doctors. It provides free
outdoor treatments to students of the University in its Health Centre.
11.
STUDENT ACTIVITIES
11.1
Each college will have a Students Union of the college to organize cultural and athletic/
sports activities.
11.2
The Dean of Students Welfare looks after the extra curricular activities of the students.
The University Employment Information and Guidance Bureau acts as a useful channel of
communication between the students and employment organizations.
12.
STUDENT DISCIPLINE
A student, whether a boarder or day scholar, shall abide by the disciplinary rules and
regulations of the Hostel, College and University and shall not involve himself / herself in
any objectionable conduct such as violation of hostel discipline, disobedience of
instructions of hostel authorities, immoral conduct or disorderly behavior including ragging.
In case a student is found to be involved in any of the said undesirable activities, he/she
shall be liable for expulsion from the hostel and if the offence is grave in nature, also from
the college. The expulsion from the hostel shall be ordered by the Dean of Students
Welfare with the concurrence of the Dean/Director of the Faculty concerned and expulsion
from the college shall be under the orders of the Vice-Chancellor.

16. REFUND OF FEES
A candidate once admitted to a course desires to discontinue or on the event of cancellation
of Admission, shall not be refunded any fees except caution money only.
In case a student is promoted to next Semester on Scholastic Probation but becomes
unsuccessful in Special Examination, the entire fees deposited for admission into the higher
Semester shall be refunded on his I her application.

PROCEDURE FOR APPLYING ONLINE FOR ADMISSION INTO UG COURSES IN OUAT
Last date for payment of application fee is 20/04/2016. However, after 16.04.2016 payment modes viz.
Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking options will not be available. After 16.04.2016 to pay application fee
generate a PAP form from State Bank Collect using Branch options and visit any SBI branch to deposit
Cash/SBI Cheque.
Please read the instructions carefully before proceeding.
Visit online banking website of State Bank of India by typing https://www.onlinesbi.com in the address
bar of the internet explorer. Once the home page appears click on State Bank Collect tab.
Now select Educational Institution Name as Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology and
click on Submit.
Select the payment category as UG Entrance Exam-2016 from the drop down.
Now a blank form appears. Carefully fill in the details of the applicant. The data keyed in here will
be processed by OUAT for the purpose of UG Entrance Examination 2016 and generation of
Form A-cum-Admit Card. Any wrong information may debar the applicant from the UG Entrance
Examination 2016.Besides collecting the applicants details the system will also collect the prescribed
application fee. The process will be completed only on payment of required application fee successfully.
Hence, carefully fill in the form with required information as asked for or select from the drop down
options wherever available. Take adequate care while filling in (a) Name (b) Date of Birth (c)
Mobile Number as asked for in the lower part of the screen. This information is important to
reprint the e-Receipt from Payment History link of State Bank Collect subsequent to any
successful payment.

for payment though cash or cheque drawn on SBI Branch. After the payment is
successfully processed by the SBI Branch, the SBI Branch will give an acknowledgment

Collect link in the home page of www.onlinesbi.com for printing the e-receipt from the
Payment History link as copy of this is required to be carried along while coming to
appear at the Entrance Examination.
NB :
While paying application fees online, if the account is debited but e- Receipt is not generated
please wait for two working days unless the last date is approaching before trying once

SOME IMPORTANT RULES
1. Read the direction for each of the parts of the test carefully. The test will be divided into several parts which are separately
timed. Use your time as economically as possible. Do not waste time in pondering over questions which seem difficult or
ambiguous to you. Do not worry If you can not answer all the questions within the time limit. The test is so designed that it is
difficult for you to complete the entire test within the limit.
2. Do not give more than one answer to any question as there is only one correct answer to each question. If more than one

The candidates shall be present at the Examination Centre with admit card by 10 a.m. .
No candidate will be allowed to enter into the Entrance Examination Hall after 15 minutes of
commencement of the Examination.
3. All candidates should continue to stay in the examination hall till the examination is over.
4. Disfiguring of answer paper in any manner or putting any sign/ symbol etc. therein as identifying mark,
will make the paper liable for rejection.
5. Adopting unfair means or indulging in any objectionable conduct in the examination hall will make the
candidate liable to be debarred from the examination.
6. Use Black/Blue Ball Point Pen for marking the answer sheet (OMR Sheet).
7. Mobile phones, calculator & other electronic gadgets etc.are strictly prohibited in the Examination Centre.
8. Obey the instructions of the centre superintendent and University authorized officials at the examination centre.
9. The request for change of city/centre of examination will not be entertained.
10. Submission of Application Form-B is compulsory (see Clause No.- 6.2 of the Prospectus).
N.B. : 1) Bring two copies of this admit card affixing photograph to the Examination Centre
without signature.
2) Bring ID Proof in original to the Examination Centre for verification (Reference see
