There is NO SCHOOL on Thursday, Friday or Monday the 24th, 25th
and 28th. We will resume classes on March 29th.
Please have a Happy and Safe Easter Break! Spend as much time as you

Forensics Place Winners


The school would like to thank all those families that traveled back home
in time to allow their students the opportunity to compete in the Forensics competition held at Bloomington St. Marys on March 17th. We
would also like to thank St. Marys for adjusting schedules to allow our
students the opportunity to compete.

Around Prairie Catholic


The Holy Family Parish Youth Group will present the Live Stations at St.
Johns Church on March 23rd at 7:00pm. Extra credit will be given to
any Prairie Catholic Middle School student that attends. Please sign on
the sheet in the back of church.
Sargent Teynor will be in the middle school to talk to the 6th, 7th and
8th grade students about drug awareness on Wednesday, March 30th in
the morning. The school values Sargent Teynors perspective and he has
given many great talks to the students and youth group.
Prairie Catholic Pre-Kindergarten Packets will be available
April 1st through the 14th. If you have a student that will turn 4
before September 1st or know of a family that may be interested please inquire at the school office.

Prairie Catholic is excited to announce a 3 year old program for next


school year. The classes will be held during the school year from
8:00am-11:00am every school day. There will also be a discounted day
care rate from 11:00am until 5:00pm for these students. Lunch for day
care students will also be offered. Please contact the school office for
more information.
First Communion practice will be held on March 30th at 6:00pm in St. Gabriels Church. All participating families will need to attend. First Communion
will be on April 3rd at St. Gabriels 10:00am Mass. Please keep all of these
young students in your prayers. A choir sign-up sheet is coming home today.
The Education Commission will meet on Wednesday, April 6th at 5:30pm in
the school cafeteria.
Holy Family will host its Cash Raffle Drawing on April 9th at 6:00pm in the
St. Johns Hall.
Mrs. Kramer would like to again offer a running club for young ladies in
grades 3, 4 and 5. The club will first meet on April 6th afterschool. The club
will run every Wednesday afterschool for six weeks. See enclosed flyer.

and the results
are positive. The
National Percentile Rank of their
Average Student
Standard Score in
the Core Composite area was in
the 81st percentile! Great Work!

Report cards are coming home today in your childs weekly envelope today.
The 8th grade will have their Pack-It-Up meeting before their
Washington DC Trip on Wednesday, April 13th at 6:00pm in the
school cafeteria. All 8th grade students are required to attend and
any adult that is traveling is encouraged to attend.
If any 7th and 8th grade girls basketball players have not turned in their uniforms, they can do so now by labeling the bag and returning them to the office. Thank you.
